Hitch had lots of deep scratches had to repaint some areas. But a very sturdy and good quality.

This hitch was very easy to install. My wife and I installed it in about 30 minutes(which includes the time getting out my tools).Ther is no doubt in my mind that she could have installed it by herself.
Great hitch. Install time was (conservatively) 5 minutes. Took longer to get it out of the box! Ordered it one afternoon and it showed up the next day.

If the car is half as strong as the hitch it will be great! The hitch is a very good product and I would recommend it to other friends. The only problem I had is with UPS, as they left the package at someone elses house. Those people saw the name on the box and called me right away! I was impressed with your service and was surprised at how fast I had the products!
I received my hitch without a hitch. It came within 3-4 working days and everything I ordered was in the box. Hitch, receiver, and harness all just as I ordered them and ahead of schedule. I am having it installed even as I write this. I will send pictures ASAP.
Easy to install. The hitch took only 30 minutes by myself and some blocks of wood to hold it up.The wiring kit took much longer due to routing the power cable, though. Patience and planning is key for that part.
Perfect fit, on in 20 minutes at my friends garage. You should suggest that the muffler be dropped out of the way for ease of installing the forward bolt on the passenger side. This is my second hitch from etrailers and I always recommend you guys to my friends. Thanks for a truly great product.
Packaged well, Single instruciton sheet, four bolts. couldn't be simpler... except that if you have a RAV4 sport, you'll need to remove the exhaust tip mounting screw (hex button head holding flexible band) as the sport exhaust chamber blocks one of the hitch mounting bolts (not so on the standard RAV4). Other than that, couldn't be simpler. Hitch is sturdy, and once installed, is about level or slightly higher than the level of any other car bottom components.
The service at etrailer is excellent. I ordered two components for my car, a hitch and wiring harness. Etrailer had the most reasonable prices online, plus their website is easy to navigate and link necessary parts together. After ordering my total came above the minimum for free standard shipping. Etrailer upgraded my shipping for free to 3-5 day overnight. It arrived in excellent condition, and I could not be more pleased with my purchasing experience.
Perfect fit and an easy do it yourself installation project on a 2009 RAV4
Recommend using a 12mm x 1.25 tap if bolt holes need threads cleaned out like mine did.
17mm impact socket to take off the tow plate and a 19mm socket to install the hitch, plus a Torque wrench and an impact driver.
Rubber isolation bushing easily comes off to drop the exhaust out of the way, I used bungees to support the exhaust instead of a strap as shown in the video.
I installed by myself simply lifting and bolting one side on at a time starting with the exhaust side laying on my garage floor. Easy peasy!
Super easy install on a 2008 Rav4 Limited... and it WORKS with a 2 bike Kuat rack!!! Rack clears the tire cover when folded and the inside bike mount has room when loaded. If you have a recovery hook on the left rear side, it has to be removed as the hitch uses one of those mounting locations.

I have been using my etrailer Trailer Hitch for about a year now. When it arrived, one flange, where it attaches to the car, was bent - apparently during shipping. A friend was able to straighten it and from that point the installation went smoothly.
It works beautifully in conjunction with the CansPorter attachment for moving my big trash container down to the highway for pick-up.
One bolt hole did not line up but was able to get it on anyway with a little muscle. Looks good and works great. The video was very helpful for ease of installation. We backed up on two planks to give us extra clearance to install the receiver on the ground. Thx

Great
Very happy with the construction of the hitch, unfortunately the right bracket was bent on arrival. I will attempt to straighten it with help from email sent to me. I wish the packaging would be better so this problem wouldn’t exist. Hopefully I can straighten it and it will work.

Sometimes the hitch side brackets do get knocked out of alignment in transit to you or to us from the manufacturer. I am hopeful the FAQ link we sent will help. If not please let us know.
