Can 2015 Toyota Highlander with Aluminum Spare Have Hitch Installed

Question:
I have a 2015 Toyota Highlander with full size ALUMINUM wheel as the underside spare. However, all your choices say they wont work only with a full size spare not aluminum. What do you recommend? Thanks. Jeff

Hey Jeff, so I don't have a great solution but if you really need a hitch installed on your 2015 Toyota Highlander what you'd need to do is install a hitch like the etrailer part # e98844 and then source a non-aluminum spare so that you can mount it back on the vehicle. There just isn't a way to fit both your current spare with any of the available hitches.
