Perfect fit, installation video was very informative and detailed. The main reason for the hitch is for my dog. I installed a swivel step, it fits perfectly. I was able to notch out a small hole to accommodate the step. Great hitch.

Still working great after a year!
Easy install. Just followed the video. Only suggestion is to have some extra fasteners in case you break a bumper fastener. Fast delivery. I installed it the day I got it.
Ease of Installation: The installation reference video provided in the product details for my vehicle was the most helpful and convenient. I’d never installed a hitch before and it was easy from start to finish by following the video.
Service was great and installation was as easy as the video showed. 4 bolts in the wheel well a pain but the rest well done! Thanks for a great product!
Heavy duty and very easy to install especially after watching video.
Very easy to install except for one of the holes or quite possibly the car was off and I spent an hour filling down the the hitch opening/hole to get the hitch on, but I was able to do it.
Install took about an hour and went smoothly with the video guide.
This hitch was a breeze to install. Kinda felt weird removing the factory bumper, but this hitch is definitely a quality built unit that works well. We've used it with our trailer, our aluminum basket for lighter weight items (such as 2 smaller 2 cycle snowblowers and fuel cans) or a heavier basket with a ramp for our larger snowblowers. Light kit and hitch are the 2 best items purchased. TY etrailer!!
The hitch fit perfectly, and was a breeze to install. It fits just like the factory receiver and allows me to use the existing cover to hide it when not in use.

The quality of the hitch is excellent but I had to grind-out the top right hole on the passenger side to get the bolt to fit. The hole was just slightly out of line with the Subaru Ascent's bolt hole.
Super easy to install. Maybe 30 min (or less) by myself. I did watch your video ahead of time.
Just go on YouTube, and watch the videos. Followed step-by-step and it is as easy as they say it is as long as you have some sort of mechanical ability I am no mechanic, but it worked flawlessly. Just remember to hook the sensor up from the bumper when you’re done but if you do, forget you can still reach under and find it you just have to feel lol.
Love our tows our utility and boat trailers well on our Ascent. Love that it “hides” when not in use and it was easy to install.
Added this to my 25 Ascent Oynx Touring so that we could haul our 2 e-bikes. Could not have been easier!! I will admit I was very nervous removing the bumper off our new car but the video they have was great and very detailed on how to do it! Saved myself over $1000 from having the dealer install it. It really is super simple!! Also love that the Ascent has the option to hide the hitch when not using it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Also the hitch arrived super fast! Thank you!
This fit our subaru ascent perfectly and no customization was needed. I have pulled several things with it and am very pleased with install and performance! Would recommend to anyone looking for a hitch!

Perfect fit and east installation. Subaru dealer wanted $1300 to install a hitch on my Ascent. This took me less than 2 hours total time, by myself.
All parts arrived perfectly and were securely packaged. I opted to install the trailer package myself and completed it with no problems at all. I would definitely order from etrailer again for sure.
Direct bolt on, super easy install, and works well with our 2” cargo carrier that we bought from Amazon. It’s nice that it hides within the bumper as well.

Product is still holding up well and looks brand new. We have used it several times for beach trips and hauling extra supplies such as crates, tables, etc. Would buy this product again in the future for other vehicles if needed!
