Question:

I need a 2 inch hitch for carrying a bike rack on my 2020 Subaru Ascent. I'm not sure which one to get. What do you recommend?

We offer two primary types of hitch for your 2020 Subaru Ascent. One installs so that the receiver tube sits up against the underside of he back bumper fascia with most of the hitch being visible from the rear of the vehicle. The other type would utilize the removable knockout in the bumper fascia and would be much more concealed. The knockout panel can be reinstalled when the hitch isn't in use.

For the fully exposed type hitch I'd go with the etrailer brand Class III hitch, part # e35ZR. For the concealed type hitch, I'd go with the etrailer brand # e55ZR. If it were my vehicle, I'd choose the more concealed # E55ZR.

I'll link to the installation instructions for either hitch mentioned above. I'll also provide a side by side photo showing the two hitches installed.
