Built from 6000-series aluminum, the Thule TracRac TracONE truck bed rack handles up to 800 lbs of gear. The uprights stand 26-1/4" tall, giving plenty of clearance for lumber, ladders, kayaks, or a rooftop tent. Because the material is lightweight and strong, it won’t eat into your payload capacity or strain your truck. Four adjustable aluminum load stops with tie-down points come included, so securing different lengths of material or outdoor gear is quick and simple.
The TracONE is made to take whatever you throw at it. Its aluminum frame won’t rust, and it’s finished with a two-step powder coat—first an e-coat that clings tight to the metal, then a clear coat that keeps scuffs and scratches from showing. This silver finish holds up through years of jobsite use and bad weather without corroding or fading.
Each 65" crossbar is shaped to cut through wind instead of fighting it. The elliptical profile helps reduce drag, and built-in airfoil trip strips stop that high-pitched whistling sound common with slotted bars. The internal web structure adds rigidity without adding weight, so the rack stays steady even under full load.
Top and bottom T-slots run the full length of both crossbars, letting you attach accessories like tie-downs, kayak saddles, or rollers exactly where you need them. The included load stops slide within these same channels for fast adjustments when switching between cargo types. The design gives you flexibility whether you’re hauling tools during the week or surfboards on the weekend.
Mounting the TracONE takes only a few steps—just position the wide bases on your bed rails and secure each upright with two heavy-duty aluminum clamps per side. The no-drill setup means you can remove it later without leaving holes behind. Once tightened down, the rack locks in place solidly for dependable carrying performance every time you load up.

I think the directions for this rack were straight forward and easily put together. The rack seems sturdy and well built and should be able to to it’s job and then some. The shipping time was fast and here a day prior to its estimated date. Would definitely do business with this company and use this product again for sure.
Great product easy installation if you are on the fence to buy a rack you will not be disappointed also fast shipping Thank you etrailer.
This is my 2nd set of Thule truck racks: top of the line product!
Paint was in the threading and couldn't set screw all the deep enough. Racks shake laterally and not very stable
We ended up buying 2 sets of these. Super easy to assemble and only took about 45 min to install. We bough a third set in black for a lager fleet truck. Great racks and they've held up well
Used it on back of my Ford Ranger many times over the past year to carry my canoe or oversized material. Had no structural issue, no rust, it’s a good product.
No fault of eTrailer - the service was exceptional. It's a great ladder rack - my only issue is that the threads needed to be chased out with a tap to avoid cross threading, which i guess is some feedback for the manufacturer. Looks great on a 2024 Sierra.
Great ladder rack, light weight but very sturdy, I take them off and on very often to load my 5th wheel camper and it takes less than 10min.
After searching diligently for the rack that would meet my needs I finally decided on this unit. I was immediately impressed by the strength and quality of this rack. Assembly was relatively easy. The instructions could have been a bit more clear with better illustrations but overall I’m very pleased. Additionally the sales person was very helpful. Thank you for a great product.
I have owned this for a year now installed on my 2023 Ford Ranger and works great. Would definitely purchase from etrailer again in the future.
Amazing service.
Thanks You!
Great service!
I received my Thule TracRac pickup rack from etrailer very quickly and price was better than other online and local sources for a quality truck rack. Etrailer service was great - I will order from them again. The TracRac was very easy to install and I had no problems with screws as other reviewers have mentioned. The rack is very good quality and I'm pleased with the value for the price. Easy to put on and take off. It's more expensive than some other manufactures, but I think it's worth it for the higher quality. Looks great on my Silverado 2500HD.
I use this rack on a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado to haul my kayaks. It is too tall to fit in the garage with the racks on, but they are easy to install and remove. I keep the clamps and rubber protectors in a small bucket, and made some hooks to hang the racks from my garage ceiling when not in use...they are light enough to do this easily.
They work great for hauling the kayaks. It took a few tries to come up with an effective way to lash them ( I use two lengths of rope per kayak; tie a bowline in each, and put the loop over the nose and tail of the kayak, and then use a trucker's hitch to tie them to the racks. Finally, I put two ratchet straps over them.) This keeps the bed open for more hauling. I have taken this setup 200+ miles several times on interstates at 75 MPH without incident. These racks are great; I see no reason why I won't get years of use out of them. Excellent product.
I installed this rack on my 2011 Dodge Dakota about a year ago and have used it several times to haul lumber and plywood. It's easy to load on the rack and I normally use simple tie down straps, but my self spooling ratchet straps are used for deeper and heavier loads and that's where the crossbar tie downs come in handy. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and it's important to do everything they say, and in the order they say it. Attaching the uprights to my Dakota's bed rails was a little awkward because of the wheel wells, so the smaller your torque wrench, the better. The good news is it only takes 10 ft.lb. I think the rack is well worth the money and it's a ton safer than just throwing lumber in the truck's bed.
This is a great rack. I had my doubts about it's strength, but, after caring home lumber from the lumber yard, I have no doubts about it. It is strong. Excellent product.
This seems like a high quality medium-duty aluminum rack. It arrived very quickly, came with good hardware, and fit together well. It should last a while.
Love it. Color matches my truck. Strong and sturdy. Great instructions. Arrived quickly. Easy install.
Racks are very well made and fit my Ford ranger perfectly with no drilling required.
The product is robust and well-constructed. Installation is estimated to take approximately 30 minutes. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The price is more competitive than purchasing through a dealer, which would take approximately four weeks for delivery.
Very clean appearance. Almost too much assembly work. I really like the wind noise reduction shape in the crossbars. I shortened the crossbars because the stuck out to far, a useless area. Surprised that no tiedowns or ratchet strap hook devices came with it. Therefore I drilled and tapped holes on the base plates for cleats. I also drilled the uprights adding pop rivet nuts where more cleats were added. I ran into a problem with the front base plates having to cut an opening in the final for a second clamp to be installed. I love its appearance. A good buy.
Installed on a Ram 2500 longbox with an Eddie boatloader and 10 ft. Hewscraft. Works great and solid as a rock.
Beautiful craftsmanship. Nice match for my new truck. Didn't want a overcab rack. And wanted something removable.Went together well. Only a few minor issues. Clamp bolt holes were a little difficult starting. Go easy don't cross thread. I have factory top rail covers. Make sure to look underneath to work around the plastic mounts.(picture) Rack to cab height! 2" clearance!! Some reviews said it was close! This is acceptable. Watch long flexible loads. I'm planning on getting a simple cab mount ,strap or clamp on for the few times I carry my 40' ladder or pipe, long wood etc.2021 F250 super cab.
Best rack on the market, and I’ve owned many! This is my second set of TracRac ladder rack systems. The first in 2006, and it was still going strong until I sold the truck with the rack on it, and now this one I purchased in 2022. Unfortunately, this will be my last one as it will take me into retirement, but it will live on with the new owner that buys this truck! Thank you for manufacturing such a good quality product. Well that is not good Richard! I wish that you would have reached out to us immediately so we could have addressed the issue. If you ever receive something from us and it has a manufacturer defect, please call our customer service so we can me it right. It is way past the 30 days, so I am not able to ship you a new one ladder rack. Have you tried to clean the hole out? A little nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip can do wonders! Please let me know if that does the trick. If it doesn't, please respond directly to the email you receive with pictures so I can reach out to Thule directly.
