Hi I’m interested in purchasing a trailer hitch for my 2021 Subaru Ascent Touring. Which hitch would you recommend and are they all compatible with the Touring? Thanks!

To add a hitch to your 2021 Subaru Ascent, I recommend our etrailer item # e55ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Subaru with included hardware. It fits all models of the 2021 Ascent including the Touring. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight.

I really like the etrailer Hitch item # e55ZR because of how it installs. The crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper cover leaving only the 2" receiver installed. This not only looks better but helps with ground clearance.
