Package was damaged, but no fault of the shipped. UPS was extremely negligent with how they handled my order. It was liked they threw it around. I had a lot of nicks and large scrapes, had to paint before installing on my vehicle.

Its been great. Only issue, and its a Volvo thing, not a Curt thing is that its low to the ground and you have to be aware if youre backing up towards an obstacle.

My son and I installed this trailer hitch our new 2017 Volvo XC 70 start to finish in about 90 minutes. The instructions were clear and the parts fit perfectly. The wiring harness was an easy install as well. The hitch looks good and functions well. We tow a Titan 4x10 aluminum trailer to haul around our Toro Z mower and Cyclone rake rig. I highly recommend etrailer.com. The quality was excellent at a very reasonable price. The next time I need a trailer hitch I will be buying it from etrailer.
Works perfectly. Installation required some disassembly and threading the power wire to the battery took a little effort but the instructions were clear and accurate.

Unfortunately I recently sold the car. However the trailer hitch was great, I pulled my 2000lb boat around on a trailer and also used a [rental] trailer: both were uneventful. Great product. Thanks
Still working great one year later. The powder coating is starting to rust off but that is pretty typical of aftermarket receivers especially here in New England. They never hold up like factory hitches so you need to plan on repainting them at some point if you don’t like the look of rust.

OK, so you guilted me into it. Well, maybe the rainy weekend weather had something to do with it as well but anyway I finally installed the hitch and electrical wiring and everything went off with(out) a hitch (pun intended). Now why didn’t I do that at the beginning of the summer? Thanks again for giving me the push needed to get this done.

Good product, prompt shipping. looks to be very good quality. I would order from etrailer again for sure if I ever need to. The install was easy considering the type of job that you are doing, estimated time may have been around an hour give or take a few minutes.
My only complaint about the hitch is that it's design makes the hitch sit very low after it is installed. I feel it could be an inch or two higher. I have already scraped it one time in a driveway with no load in the car. I am thinking that I didn't even need to trim the back fascia like the directions recommend because the hitch sits so low.

3. Fairly easy to install. Instructions are very good. Takes a little trial and error to get some of the body panels off. Hitch fit my 2013 Volvo S60 almost perfectly. Bumps up against inside of bumper very slightly but it's easy to force everything to fit and the distortion is not visible. A year later, and the hitch and fit remain rattle free and perfect

I am very satisfied with the Kurt trailer hitch. The unit was shipped promptly and was well packaged. UPS can beat the _______ out of things.
The hitch fit very well and installed without a problem, thanks to the video. It is not often I find a tutorial demonstrating on the EXACT thing I want to work on. The ''plug and pray'' wiring harness worked flawlessly. [prayers were answered]
All in all things went well except for the kit being short one of the Mickey Mouse ear shims. That was nothing a stack o'washers could not remedy.

I use the trailer hitch only occasionally, even less with this Covid 19 stuff happening. To protect it from the salt and slop of Wisconsin roads, the unit was sprayed with Boeshield. Rubber corks were pushed into the side pin holes and official Kurt receiver covers seal the front and rear openings. This thing is very solidly built, like an attachment for my forklift... I am still impressed with the online video tutorial... same make and model [and color] as my Volvo... no mistakes then ! could not be more satisfied..

2015.5 Volvo V60 R-Design - The Curt hitch #13266 has excellent fit & finish and etrailer.com included clear instructions.
Installation on the Volvo V60 can be done on a set of ramps with basic hand tools per the instructions. No surprises. Using a floor jack, the install can be done by one person, but two people are recommended. Do the install on a warm day or warm garage to ensure the plastic bumper cover is soft and flexible. Installation should take about an hour.
We plan to use this for hauling bikes with our Thule 964 Revolver bike rack.

A year later and the hitch continues to work well with limited signs of wear. While it does sit low, no cutting of the rear bumper cover was needed. I would still recommend this hitch to fellow Volvo V60 and V60CC owners.
My son and I installed this over the weekend and it went off without a (insert pun here). The video we followed was great and I'll definitely be coming back as a repeat customer.
Delivered quickly and included all hardware and instructions in English. My install was just for my bike. Installed in a few hours alone.
I called trailer to ensure I was purchasing exactly the correct hitch and was very pleased with the person I spoke with. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and assured me that this hitch would fit my car. 4 days later, the hitch arrived, well packed and imagine, all of the hardware was there too. The hitch is well built and well finished. I’m happy with my purchase.
Installed the hitch this weekend on my S60. Great instructions. Everything lined up perfectly. Only took us about 50 minutes to install. Most of the time was spent fretting over pulling the bumper fascia off. Looks great on the car. Towed my trailer later in the day. Excellent!
I was intimated by the prospect of installing this trailer hitch on my 2015 Volvo V60 wagon- although I'm relatively handy I don't do any work on cars. After watching the video and reading through the instructions I dove in. one hour and twenty minutes later the car was completely reassembled and my hitch bike rack was ready to go!
the receiver looks great on my car, and I'm excited about the prospect of using my hitch mounted bike rack in the future.
Well made product, though looks like it was repainted after manufacture. Great price. Very easy to install on my Volvo XC70 alone. Took about 90 minutes (thanks to etrailer's YouTube video) Have used it for Yakima swing daddy 4 bike rack. Solid!
I just finished installing this hitch on my '15.5 S60 and it was about as straight-forward as I could have imagined. The only "gotcha" was that the added depth of the hitch plus spacers cause the bumper bar to just barely fit under the bumper cover, making things a little bit tight to get back together. Despite that I was able to get everything torqued down and back together in about an hour. The finished look is completely acceptable to my eye. Yes, a 2" receiver is a chunky piece of hardware to hang under the bumper but at least that's the only visible part. Having to notch the bumper cover is no big deal, either, since you can't see that without getting under the car. In my mind it's all a miniscule price to pay to add utility to my little sedan.
Excellent fit on my 2014 Volvo S60. With a helper this project was all of an hour and a half. There are 5 fender well screws and four additional Torx screws near the muffler. We had to trim the muffler heat shield by a little bit and the bumper cutout by the dimensions shown in the instructions. The spacers were required. All went smooth and looks like factory install. Highly recommend! And etrailer shipped super fast and with great follow up.

Straightforward installation for a well engineered product
We installed this hitch on a 2018 Volvo V60 Cross Country. The hitch itself fits fine, but the original plastic bumper cover had to be heavily modified in order to accommodate the new hitch. We have a fabrication shop so it was just a lot of extra time. The average at home person would struggle.

I need the hitch for a one off to put a wheelchair carrier on the back of our then 2013 S60. I went to Maine to visit family and buy a snow blower and drive it back approximately 680miles. We had no issues, so thank you for an excellent product.
