Question:
I just ordered a new 7x14 enclosed trailer. I plan on hauling two utra classic harleys. I assume one track down the middle. How far to center for the two going down the side ?

With cargo like your two classic Harleys you will want to make sure they are really well secured to prevent any damage. I recommend securing the E-Tracks to something more stable than just wood. If you are attaching the tracks to the floor I recommend you make sure they are secured either to the metal structure of the trailer or use metal plates like the E-Track Backing Plate, part # e96RR, to make it as secure as possible.
If the interior floor and walls are 7 ft long I recommend 5 ft E-Tracks like part # E19148, along with the 2 ft E-Track, part # EM59150. I would place them as close to the wall on the floor as possible, and also install tracks along the wall of the trailer at a height that would allow you to secure your motorcycles. I have attached a photo that gives you the dimension of the E-Track and also shows the distance between each of the mounting holes.
I also recommend the E-Track Plastic End Cap, part # ET8730, which helps prevent cargo from catching on the end of the track when installed.
You will want a tie-down that attaches to the E-Track rails. I recommend part # 59131, and also part # E59143. Both of these are designed to easily fit in the track and give you a solid attach point for tie-downs.
I have attached several links to tie-downs that would work well with the E-Track system you can choose from.
