E-Track and Parts Needed For Securing Motorcycles In a Enclosed Trailer

Question:
I have a 6x10 trailer and use it for dirt bikes and kayaks. I’d like to install e track to provide flexibility between the uses. I noticed most run the track lengthwise in the trailer which would be parallel with my bikes. I was curious if running three tracks across the width perpendicular to the bikes would be acceptable and safe. Sometimes I only transport 1 bike and sometimes 3-4. I feel this may provide most flexibility but since the straps will be running in angles from the track was unsure if this would be unsafe. Please let me know if my layout would be acceptable- and most importantly safe.

Yes, you can place the etrailer Horizontal E-Track # e25VR across your trailer from side to side. This will allow you to use the CargoSmart Motorcycle Wheel Chock # 3481731 making it easier and safer to secure your bikes in your trailer. Be sure to use the etrailer E-Track Backing Plates w/ Hardware # e46RR to secure each of the 5' tracks in place. Each of these kits includes 3 brackets for each track.
I recommend using the Erickson E-Track Tie Down Rings # 59131 and Cam Tie-Downs # EM05729 for holding your bikes. The rings are sold individually and the straps are a pack of 2 with each strap being 6' long.
