Question:

Can a e track system be installed on a ceiling assuming it is screwed into a stud. I wound intend to use it to mount a 100lb punching bag to the ceiling.

E-track can be used on a ceiling since it is designed to hold quite a bit of weight to the track. Commonly people secure vehicles to the track on the floor of a trailer so a ceiling mount (through a stud) to hold a punching bag would be definitely doable. For an anchor with a ring to use with the track # E19148 you'd want just the part # 59131.
