Question:

I have a aluminum Mission utility trailer with side walls and a rear gate, the size is 10foot wide by 12foot long. I want to add on rings to hook tie downs on to the walls or the floors but I saw your E-tracks, would these work on a aluminum trailer...the floor is also aluminum. Thanks

The Erickson E-Track system will work great in your aluminum utility trailer, but you will want to put a layer between the E-Track and the aluminum of your trailer. This layer will help prevent corrosion cause by contact of dissimilar metals. This layer can consist of almost any material, such as wood, rubber, or plastic.

When installing the E-Track system in a trailer, one thing to keep in mind is to select locations that provide structural components, such as wall studs and floor supports. These structural elements of your trailer will serve as the backbone of your E-Track system. It is important that the tracks mount to strong structural portions of your trailer.
