Cinching tie-downs secure your gear to a cargo carrier or roof rack. Each durable polypropylene strap has a chromate-plated steel cam buckle, and the included buckle pads fit over the buckles to prevent scratches. 750 lbs WLL when strap is looped.

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Exactly what I needed to add to my Thule carrier for my canoe, adding to the straps that came with the original purchase. Finding these in-stock at local retailers was not successful. Thankfully eTrailer came through again for me. Super fast delivery, excellent and accurate descriptions online and I really appreciate the product videos eTrailer does (although I didn’t need a video for this purchase).
I like the padded cam buckles. These are useful if you need to keep a load from flopping around, but only get as tight as you can pull. No ratcheting.
Hold the buckle, push down on the lever plate (not shown in picture) and pull. Slide the pad over the buckle.
Good quality compare to cheapies, straps feed easy, bumpers are great to have.
Nicely made straps and easy to use. Perfect for tying a canoe or kayak to the top of your car or any other strapping needs you have. Rubber end caps are nice so the buckles do not scratch the paint on your vehicle. I'm using on a Toyota Highlander to hold down a canoe. Perfect strap for this application.

Perfect replacement takes like two minutes to swap out . Though originally on backorder etrailer got it to me pretty quick and kept me informed as to the status along the way A+ George. Would definitely purchased from these guys again.
Thank goodness I found etrailer! We bought a used Thule rack for our kayaks and unfortunately 2 of the 4 straps were severely frayed to the point of us worrying that they would hold. I did research online and etrailer's website. Their prices were substantial less than either from Thule directly or any other place I could find. The straps are Thule brand, and their customer service was great. I ordered from them and they shipped promptly - got them within a couple of days. I got a follow up email asking if I was satisfied. I live in a rural area, and sometimes ordering on-line can be a gamble because not all companies who do mail order have the same strong customer service ethic as this company. Etrailer was wonderful and I would not hesitate to order from them again. I highly recommend their products, pricing, and service to anyone who needs Thule (or other) replacement parts
This recent order of straps adds to our existing set (we got another kayak). These straps have been workhorses for us, strong and easy to use. Good value, good price. I definitely recommend this product.

After a year, these straps continue to be reliable and easy to use. I wouldnt get any other brand.
