Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
The cam-lock buckle on this multipurpose tie-down lets you cinch the strap around bundles or secure trees to stakes for landscaping. When you want to loosen the strap, push down on the cam buckle to release its grip and then pull the strap through. The cam-lock mechanism offers quick, easy operation, and it helps prevent overtightening.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Snap-Loc cam lock-style cinch strip. This is 2" wide, 8' long. The part number on it is SLLS28CR. Now this strap is going to offer us a 1,000 pound working load limit and a 3,000 pound break strength. Something that really stands out about it, as you can see here we've got the strap keeper. This keeps our strap nice and tidy when it's not in use so we don't have to worry about it coming all unraveled, getting dirty or knotted up. Now when it's time to use it it's as simple as open up the keeper and just let our strap unravel.
See here, nice, long heavy duty strap. We've got good stitching in our connection points here, nice heavy material. It's cross-stitched so it's going to give us superior strength, and our hardware is completely zinc-coated so we're going to have great corrosion resistance with it. Now let's take a look at how it's going to work. We'll just be securing our ATV ramps here today. Going to place them up in the area we want them to go.
See we've got a couple loops here. These cinch straps are really nice for sliding right through those for us. Just pull our strap through there and then feed it right through our cam. Then it's just a matter of pulling that down, getting that cinch nice and tight. Then we can loop our strap around, get that nice and tidy.
Put that right under the strap keeper. That's a nice heavy duty hook and loop style closure there. It's going to hold that strap, keep it up off the ground, keep it from getting tangled up or flapping in the wind if we're in an open trailer situation. As you can see, holds it nice and securely. That nice, thick strap gives us plenty of purchase to hold onto and get it nice and taught. Now that we've seen how it works that's going to complete today's look at the Snap-Loc cinch-style cam buckle strap, part number SLLS28CR.

Great quality
works as it should,
Excellent quality. Handy strap wrapper is easy to use.
Excellent, wish it was a bit longer but it is a quality product
Good product, GREAT customer service from Brittney!
The metal cam lock is strong with good plating. The strapping material on the other hand is too soft, loose weave, and easily frayed when you have to separate it from coming in contact with the velcro-type strap storage feature. Probably will provide minimal service life.
Quality construction and durability. It’s a must have to tool to assist with installation of a trailer hitch
Straps are well made, "S" hooks are sturdy, and buckle is more than adequate to hold the straps securely. Wish the material were thicker, but suppose I'd have had to order straps rated at more than 500 lb.
Service from etrailer was excellent.
This item was supposed to be a 3-foot long strap. I contacted eTrailer, and they are sending the correct item. Only noting this issue here for others.
This item looks almost like it is/was used. Also, the tag which list the specs of the strap was "modified" with an ink pen to indicate the 3-foot length. Given my intended use case, these things don't bother me, so I need no exchange on it -- I'm only "reviewing" it to note the issue for others. (Based on my experience, eTrailer would have replaced this strap would I have asked).
just great
Installed in minutes. Great fit
