I am looking for J style kayak holders for this rack TA27000B TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Matte Black SportRack Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs - J-Style - Fixed Arms - Roof Mount - SR5511 Swagman Contour Rooftop Kayak Carrier System with Tie-Downs - Fixed Arms - J-Style - Universal Mount - S65148 Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier - Fixed - Universal Mount - S510 Will any of these work with the ladder rack I got from you a few weeks ago? Do you reccomend any of these or a different one? Thanks for your help

I do have a solution for you, however I spoke with my contact at Thule (who manufactures the TracRac systems) and he stated that J-Style Kayak carriers are not compatible with the TracOne Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH27000XTB that you referenced in your question. This is because the crossbars on the ladder rack are simply too wide for the J-Style carriers to mount properly.

I instead recommend looking at the Thule Surf Pad # TH845000 to protect and support your kayaks on the ladder rack. This pad with a split-bottom design will simply wrap around the crossbars and cinch to the bar with Velcro style closure. I have attached a video demonstration of this product for you to check out.

I also recommend using Thule Load Strap Cinch Straps w/ Padded Cam Buckles # TH521 to secure the kayak to your ladder rack.
