Strap Recommendation to Secure Kayak to Kayak Cart

Question:
Hi. I bought a kayak transport cart a few years ago and it worked very well. But now the clamp on the tiedown strap is not working. I cannot find the straps at the store with the loop on the end to attach it to the cart. The kayak will not stay on the cart without the strap. Do you sell the transport strap by itself? And how much does it cost?

Expert Reply:
I have a strap solution for you, but it doesn't look like straps used to secure a boat on a cart like the Malone NomadTRX Standard Kayak Cart # MAL88FR are replaceable so I recommend using standard cinch straps instead. The Thule Load Strap Cinch Straps Kit # TH521 will do a great job, you just have to wrap the strap around the frame of the cart so it doesn't slide off.
Attached are some review videos for you to check out.
