Question:
I have a 2020 Volvo XC60 SUV with the Thule WingBar Evo 53inch Load Bars. Im wondering if theres any way to get 4 small kayaks onto the 53inch WingBar system, perhaps using the TH830? I havent bought the kayaks yet, but Im looking at something like the Perception Swiftly 9.5.

Although the Thule # TH830 Stacker can handle up to 4 kayaks, it might be a challenge to get them to fit on a 53 inch crossbar. The Stacker itself measures about 4 inches wide, so if you add up the combined width of your kayaks (while on their sides) and add 4 inches to that, it'll tell you the overall width and if it'll work with your crossbars. I was unable to find the depth of that kayak online.
It might be possible to go with a longer crossbar, but I'd need to know the distance between the side rails on your roof that the roof rack feet attach to.
The # TH830 Stacker includes straps for 2 kayaks, so to carry 4 you'd need two more like # TH521.
