What Ladder Rack do You Recommend for My 1993 Ford F-250 with an 8-Foot Bed?

Question:

I have a great ladder rack solution for you. Unfortunately, Thule does not make a TracRac SR model like the # TH43003XT-501EX that will fit your 8-foot bed on your 1993 F-250 super cab. With that being a great Thule ladder rack with a cantilever that will fit your truck is the Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever # TH27000XT-EX. The TracONE comes with the same 6000-series aluminum structure and offers 800 pounds of max weight capacity on the ladder rack and 1,000 pounds of max weight capacity on the cantilever. Also, the TracONE is 100% made in the U.S.A. and involves a quick, easy installation with no drilling required. I went ahead and linked a video that shows the installation process. If you need securing straps with the TracONE, I recommend the Thule Load Strap Cinch Straps w/ Padded Cam Buckles - 9' - 750 lbs # TH521.

Yes, the Thule TracONE w/Cantilever # TH27000XT-EX is extremely easy to install/remove. The first installation will take a bit more time because you have to tighten the bolts on the crossbars to the bases. After that, you are absolutely correct in saying that you simply tighten the knobs on the c-clamps to install and remove.
