Great question. I went ahead and called my tech at Reese, and he confirmed that the 20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches # 63155 will work with your factory 1-1/4" 2022 Subaru Crosstrek. He additionally confirmed that if you have a hitch with a pinhole that is closer to the face of the hitch than other brand hitches, there will not be an issue with this carrier.
Although, according to my research, your 1-1/4" hitch is only rated for 200 pounds of maximum tongue weight. If this is the case, you only have 156 pounds of capacity for loading weight on the # 63155. This is because the # 63155 weighs 44 pounds.
To attach your cargo to the carrier, I recommend the Thule Cinch Straps # TH521.
