Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
The cam-lock buckle on this multipurpose tie-down lets you cinch the strap around bundles or secure trees to stakes for landscaping. When you want to loosen the strap, push down on the cam buckle to release its grip and then pull the strap through. The cam-lock mechanism offers quick, easy operation, and it helps prevent overtightening.

Today we're taking a look at the Snap-Loc Cam Buckle Cinch Strap. Now, this is a heavy-duty cinching tie-down that lets you secure cargo to your truck bed, trailer, or ladder rack. It features the hook-and-loop strap wrapper, which helps keep your excess strap in place, so that way, you don't have to tie it off. It helps prevent your unused strap from tangling or flapping in the wind as you travel down the road. It's also great for storing the entire strap when it's not in use. And that's this right here. You can just roll up your excess strap, or your strap, when it's not in use.
Place it in the keeper here, and then bring it over, and it secures together. Now, right here we have the cam-lock buckle, which holds the strap tight over or around your gear. The plain end feeds through the buckle. That way, you can cinch the strap over or around your cargo. So, once you have it through, all you have to do is pull on the plain end of the strap to tighten the strap around your cargo or around your gear. The neat thing about the cinch design, or that buckle, is that it holds it tight over the gear so it will not back feed until you press the release button. Then that releases the strap from the actual buckle. We're looking at a really nice durable steel buckle with a powder-coat finish to resist rust and corrosion.
Then the strap is a durable polyester webbing. It's WSTDA certified. The product's made in the USA. The strap itself measures 1" wide by 3' long. It has a safe working load limit of 500 pounds, with a maximum load or break strength rating of 1,500 pounds. Now, just keep in mind that tie-down straps need to be chosen according to their safe working load limit, so the weight of your secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps being used. That's going to do it for today's look at the Snap-Loc Cam Buckle Cinch Strap..

Excellent, wish it was a bit longer but it is a quality product
Good product, GREAT customer service from Brittney!
Excellent quality. Handy strap wrapper is easy to use.
While the tie down is fine, I thought there were two tie downs... that's what I get for just glancing over the description.
Straps are well made, "S" hooks are sturdy, and buckle is more than adequate to hold the straps securely. Wish the material were thicker, but suppose I'd have had to order straps rated at more than 500 lb.
Service from etrailer was excellent.
The metal cam lock is strong with good plating. The strapping material on the other hand is too soft, loose weave, and easily frayed when you have to separate it from coming in contact with the velcro-type strap storage feature. Probably will provide minimal service life.
Quality construction and durability. It’s a must have to tool to assist with installation of a trailer hitch
This item was supposed to be a 3-foot long strap. I contacted eTrailer, and they are sending the correct item. Only noting this issue here for others.
This item looks almost like it is/was used. Also, the tag which list the specs of the strap was "modified" with an ink pen to indicate the 3-foot length. Given my intended use case, these things don't bother me, so I need no exchange on it -- I'm only "reviewing" it to note the issue for others. (Based on my experience, eTrailer would have replaced this strap would I have asked).
Great quality
