Made very well they even reinforced the tongue where the pin holes meet and it fits my cargo bag perfectly this is the third item I have ordered from e-trailers and all of them are quality work at great value. Thank y’all for this it’s rare now days
Reasonable cargo rack. Assembly is straightforward and it seems sturdy enough, and has enough tie-down points. The weak link is the expanded metal mesh "floor" -- it's fairly flimsy and just tack-welded around the edges. It's probably fine if you're putting flat-bottom objects / boxes on it, but the attachment of their bike rack adapter leaves a bit to be desired -- it's just attaching the bike rack to the mesh with some barely big enough washers. In the end, I modified it with some additional cross-bracing bolted to the frame and the bike rack adapter, which felt much more secure. After the modifications, I successfully transported a couple bikes (one of them an 80-pound cargo e-bike) without issues.
Carriage bolts’ square shoulders were too deep for the frames they passed through preventing the nuts from tightening fully. Poor engineering or quality control of the carriage bolts. The expanded metal floor on one side fell short of the frame and was not attached to the frame - it will be subject to sagging and substantially reduces load carrying capacity. Cannot recommend this product.
Got the CC-100 for my travel trailer along with a lockable rattle proof lock pin and 20 Cu.Ft. etrailer cargo bag.I added some reflective tape on the back and sides. Ready to roll...
I put this on my Yamaha Viking quad to haul garbage cans down our 250', 35 percent grade driveway. This was very easy to assemble, only 15 bolts, and works as intended. Purchasing from etrailer was easy, the order was filled promptly and I received it within 5 days of ordering.
Decided to have a front end hitch receiver mounted on my pick up to carry two bikes while towing my camper. Didn't want my bikes/cargo tray taking a beating at the rear of a 24' camper.
Went together easily. Used Stromberg's bike adapter kit and had no trouble with this new set up. With camper the bikes go up front, regular use I would just move to rear of truck. No issues with bikes secured up front. Needed this wider tray so the bike closer to the truck did not have the foot pedal touching the truck's front grill.
My primary reason for purchasing the CC-100 was to help volunteers haul hay at a local non-profit horse sanctuary. We deliver hay bales year-round by pulling wagons or sleds by hand, and we have one large pasture that is not close to the barn. For volunteers who have a trailer hitch on their vehicle, the CC-100 makes it much easier to deliver multiple hay bales to that pasture in one trip. The CC-100 is rugged, and has been used many times to haul a snowblower to the barn. This carrier definitely lightens the workload for us, especially in the winter months. Very happy with the quality. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy rack. Purchased my first one years ago and have thousands of miles on it with some heavy loads. Lots of tie-down options and rugged steel sides that don't flex. Pretty easy to assemble. Use with a hitch tightener to eliminate rattle.

Great carrier for the price. It went together well. I was missing one nyloc nut but I had another one around the house so no biggie.
Installed onto the hitch receiver, it's a bit more wobbly than I'd have hoped, but works just fine for what I need.
The flat metal strip was welded to the expanded metal of the platform at a slight angle. Therefore a bolt could not be inserted in the 3rd hole when attaching the receiver bar. Please see the attached picture. I had to cut a larger notch in the metal strip in order to attached this bolt.
Flimsy piece of junk! The expanded metal bottom is only tacked in a few places. To make matters worse, I later found the same item online for $70 LESS.
Just put it together and attached the maxxhaul bag to show the wife. After reading the reviews I chose this set up for our cross country move because it won't block my Wrangler tail lights. Seems like a great addition so far. Will update once it's tested
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

Received everything in a timely manner - 2 days. My order included the cargo carrier, a cargo bag, and a Curt anti-rattle kit.
Just a note for newbies like me. The shank is the part of the accessory that is inserted into the receiver (the part that is attached to the vehicle). The Curt anti-rattle kit does not fit properly with this cargo carrier. The instructions for the anti-rattle kit indicates that it will fit in the shank of all Curt products... I have a Curt receiver... I rigged the anti-rattle kit to work with this cargo carrier but it's a bit of a pain.
The cargo carrier box appeared to have been opened previously. The box was torn open already. I found the instructions and determined that all the parts were there so no harm no foul.
Easy-to-follow assembly instructions but having a friend to help would have sped things up a lot. Easily attaches to the receiver and bingo. All done.
Light weight. I can carry it and mount it to the vehicle by myself with ease.
I will be buying some reflective tape to put along the back of it. I want it to be more visible to anyone following - especially in the dark.

Great product. Very happy with it still. I doesnt get used all the time but I have used it to haul heavier dirty items that I didnt want to put in the trunk. For example, my lawn mower. If I had to buy a cargo carrier again I would probably choose this one again.
I have used this carrier on multiple trips since buying it last year. It provides plenty of extra space and has several holes in the framework for using tie down straps. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the bolts that hold the two sides together tend to come loose a little and allow one side to sag. It’s quick and easy to fix so not a big deal. I would recommend this carrier because it works well and is a good value.

Just the rough and tumble of driving down the road can sometimes cause hardware to slowly loosen over time and a tune up is in order. Giving hardware a once over from time to time is always a good idea.
This is a nice, versatile carrier; however, we did take it to a welder to strengthen the expanded metal platform a bit based on how we thought we would be using it. We also added reflective tape, and added bicycle mounts for 2 bikes (Thule Low Rider Bike Mounts). We've used it to carry wood, camping equipment, and our foldable kayak + accessories cross-country, to take our bikes out for bike rides in areas away from the house. So, for the price, it's a decent carrier; with a few modifications, we are pretty happy with it overall.
Great product, this is my second one. I use it for hauling deer during archery season and it fits them well. Unfortunately this package arrived open and the bag holding all the nuts and bolts was open and all the hardware was rolling around loose in the box. Maybe I ended up with a package that someone else returned? I haven't put it together yet, but hoping everything I need is still there.

Ive owned a couple of these for years now. They hold up great and are a nice large size for deer hunting. The finish and hardware will suffer a bit after a few winters of salty roads but nothing I didnt expect. Keep your exhaust pipes in mind when loading gear. The heat has melted plastic tarps a bit. I got a 90 degree swivel from a auto shop or hardware store, dont remember which, and it fit on my exhaust with a hose clamp so that I can reroute the heat temporarily when transporting stuff.
PROS: Always-great service from etrailer. Low cost unit. Seems sturdy enough for its purpose. Assembles with basic hand tools. Has many strategic holes for tarp ties and ratchet straps. CONS: Hardware bag had been opened when I received my unit and a nylon locknut was missing. The thin finish damages easily. Two-piece, bolt-together basket is subject to minor diagonal warping. Mesh base seems to have minimum possible welds to frame. SUMMARY: Cheap-n-cheerful solution for occasional or destructive use. For routine carry, I would step up to a sturdier unit and also purchase a stabilizing kit for the hitch.
Fairly easy assembly. It would be nice, since the hitch pin is not included, if the manufacturer would list the size pin needed.
Ordered the cc-100 on Monday. I was in a hurry for it, but didn't think I could get it for about a week. I was told I might get it as soon as Wednesday. It did arrive as stated,and was very easy to assemble. (less that 1/2 hour) The product was the exact size I needed to haul my lawnmower. Excellent quality, and great people taking my order. Thanks

Great product for it's price point. Clears rear tire on Jeep Wrangler tail gate. Have used to carry camping gear, landscape materials, etc. I added an anti-rattle hitch pin for additional stability.
Fairly straightforward installation and seems very strong (by just standing/jumping on it while in the hitch). I have yet to use it but don't plan on any issues just based on the materials of construction. All nylon locking washers. A few nicks in the paint from shipping which might cause rust if you use it in the rain, maybe sand/paint to cover any exposed metal.
Product meets my needs and continues to hold up to the rigors of use. Mine use is as a platform on the rear of my tractor and then I mount a 15 gallon weed sprayer and a 12 volt battery as the power source. It has performed well considering it is a little week in the bracing, but otherwise works great.

It works great! I have a 200 driveway with a 30 grade. I keep my garbage cans strapped to it. I struggled to get them down before I bought this platform.
