These adapter brackets let your tow bar connect directly to the 1" thick shackle mounts on your bumper where the D-rings attach. Instead of installing a full base plate, you just remove the D-rings and pin the tow bar in place using the same holes. The setup uses 7/8" diameter pins and includes sleeves to adapt to 1" holes, giving you a secure fit either way. It’s a clean, no-nonsense connection that’s strong enough for off-road setups rated for flat towing.
When you’re ready to tow, these brackets simply replace the quick-disconnects on your Roadmaster tow bar arms. Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for to flat tow my Jeep behind my RV. My Jeep has an off road bumper with 1” D rings and these adapters work perfectly. They seem very well made.
Ideal product! Perfect fit for setting up my Jeep Wrangler toad. Easy install and fast to connect/disconnect. Minimal slop, just right to be able to align pins.

Works and fit perfectly
Rock sold product. Ive towed my jeep through some rough country without an issues. A bit of advice. Dont leave the pins on the back of your tow bar. People like to take them and it can really ruin a trip when you find one of them missing.
While I like the D ring knuckles for the tow bar. The manufacturer is a bit wide for 1”. Mine are 1/4 of an inch over. And that makes for a sloppy connection. Will have to make some spacers.
Using these I was able to mount the tow bar to some generic recovery points to tow my FJC.
Great fit, very please with quailty and used on a Roadmaster Sterling All Terain Tow bar, pulling a 2018 Jeep JKU with a Smittybulit Gen 2 XRC Bumper.
Perfect for what I needed
Needed adapters to go from my RoadMaster tow bar to the new D ring mounts I had put on the Jeep. The new ones fit right on and also look good, along with very beefy.
Used to connect a Roadmaster Falcon to a Smittybilt Atlas XRC bumper, via the 1" Recovery D-rings. The included sleeve keeps things snug and rattle free. I can't wait to get more trips with these helping every little bit of the way.

The adapters seem to have some slop, contacted Etrailer and was told to contact Roadmaster. I have almost 1/4 inch slop, Roadmaster says the gap is not uncommon and to add washers to take up slop. We will see how it works out.
O.K. I'll play... Fantastic fit for a casting. I wasn't expecting this to work well, given that I couldn't find one single online explanation nor video of "towing a jeep from bumper eyelets". The weight savings of using the aftermarket bumper D-rings vs. the tow adaptor plate, common with many T.O.A.D. towbar manufacturers is huge. These make the transition to towing the jeep much easier. A perfect retrofit for the arm ends of a Sterling towbar... product from Roadmaster

Had to ream the d ring holes out
Works as advertised. Jeep is lifted with 35 inch tires so had to purchase another adapter to level tow bar. Using these on D-ring tabs on Poison Spyder winch bumper. Easy to install and use.
Great service and accurate adapter for my after market jeep bumper.Part arrived in a timely manner.
They are great. One of the inserts wouldn’t get in side the bumper d ring mount. But it’s good a heavy.

Excellent product. Fit our Roadmaster nighthawk perfectly. We pull a 2007 FJ Cruier with and off-road replacement bumper. It attaches to the shackle mounts. We love the setup.
Note: I did have to have some custom bushings machined due to the shackle mount holes on our bumper being much larger than the pins in the tow bar. This is not a fault of the equipment, just a difference in design between our particular bumper (SmittyBuilt) and the pins that come with the Roadmaster kit.
These are excellent if you have tow rated D rings on your vehicle like a jeep. I sold me jeep and had to include the tow bar with these adapters and will be ordering another set soon for my new jeep.
Works perfectly pulling my jeep. I had installed an off-road bumper with D-ring setup.
I was looking for something to join two specific products- 2021 Full size Bronco and the Falcon All Terrain Tow bar I acquired from a friend. So I went on etrailers website and sought that out. After finding something I thought was right, I wanted to be sure by asking their amazing customer service. I got a reply very quickly that the product I was looking at would not work. Kevin, the customer rep, found what I needed(which was actually for a jeep) but fit my application. It was cheaper and easier that what I had picked out too! I received it about a week later and it fits perfectly. I need to wire the Bronco now for lights but I am very excited to take her for a spin. This is not the first nor the last product I will buy from etrailers and I will never hesitate to ask their wonderful customer service! Keep up the great work guys!!

The product still works like it did a year ago. I now have the Bronco wired and the cords dont bind or get in the way at all. The ease of the hook up and disconnect is so convenient that it almost feels like cheating. Great Customer Service and recommendations from this company!!
Bought the D Ring adapters for my DV8 bumper. Perfect fit with my Demco Aluminator tow bar.
