Is there a Bumper for a 2024 Jeep Wrangler That Can Be Used for Flat Towing?

Question:

I would like a full length flat tow bumper is there any that you have available? I really don’t want a short bumper and I really don’t want to have to install a base plate if I can use a bumper. Thannks

Hey Jerry. Sorry but we do not have a bumper that can be used for flat towing a Jeep Wrangler. There are a bunch out there because I have recommend D-rings for them like the Roadmaster item # RM-035 for 3/4" D-rings or item # RM-035-1 for 1" D-rings. You'll just want to make sure if you go this direction you find one specifically rated for flat towing. The ones with recovery points like item # ARB46DM aren't going to cut it.

Here are the rest of the parts you will need to flat tow a 2024 Jeep Wrangler:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar item # RM-520 and item # RM-643

Wiring Kit - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
or
If your Jeep has the ParkSense Proximity Sensors - Roadmaster Wiring Kit for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights item # RM63MR

Charge Line - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. Is there a splice free kit for my 24 Wrangler with parksense? Also I already have the Blue Ox tow bar but I want a base plate that looks more hidden than the the Blue ox. What would be your suggestion

@SpliceS There are no plug in lighting kits for the 2024 Wrangler's with Parksense so you'll have to use either the item # RM47ZR or item # RM63MR kits. As far as baseplates go, the only other option is to use the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM-521453-5 with a Blue Ox tow bar adapter. Which Blue Ox tow bar do you have?

@BlueB To use a Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar item # BX7420 with Roadmaster direct-connect base plates you'll need the Roadmaster Adapter Kit for Blue Ox Motorhome Mounted Tow Bars item # RO64FR.
