Question:

I am looking at purchasing a Jeep gladiator rubicon that the front bumper has 2 D rings. I have a Demco commander for my RV. Is there a way hooking up to the “D” rings on the front bumper? It used to be hooked to a GMC canyon but no longer own. Thank you.

Hello Wayne,

Great question. I would double check that the bumper with the D-Rings is rated for flat towing, not all bumpers are. The Roadmaster D-ring adapters will work on your Demco Commander. It depends on the thickness of the D-Rings on which ones you will want, if they are 3/4" # RM-035, and for 1" thick # RM-035-1. Their tech did state that you might want to get additional bushing since the Commander tow bars are a little thinner, you would be able to source these from your local hardware store.

I know you are a seasoned flat tower, but if you need any other part recommended please let me know.

I have a first gen Excalibar (1999) that we want to use on a front bumper with 3/4 thick D ring tabs, can I use this same RM-035 adapter? And do you ship to Canada?

@Lance Yes Lance, the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motorhome-Mounted Tow Bars – 3/4" Thick # RM-035 will work with the Excalibar tow bars, including the first-generation models. Just pleases make sure to check to see if your bumper is rated for flat towing, not all of them are. We do ship to Canada as well. @KateF thanks for the response. The towbar is made by Demco, its the Excalibar model ,not made by Roadmaster, that's what I wanting to clarify.
