Will Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar Fit a 2010 Jeep Wrangler D-Ring Bumper

Looking at Item BX4330 tow bar. My Jeep Wrangler has custom bumper with 3/4” d ring mounts that are 22” outside to outside apart. Will this bar fit?

Hey Doland, thanks for reaching out again!

The Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX4330 will only work with base plates that have the tabs spaced out 23" - 30" apart. Since your D-Ring mounts are closer together than that range, we'll have to get you setup with more of a standard tow bar.

For that I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520 and you'll need D-Ring adapters to make this compatible with the D-Rings on your Jeep bumper. For this tow bar you're looking at either # RM-035 for 3/4" Mounts or the part # RM-035-1 for 1" Mounts.

Thanks but was trying to find bar with 2” ball hitch connection if possible

@DolandD Unfortunately there aren't any tow bar options that use the coupler style that will also fit with your setup.

Hey Rick, the correct adapter to from a Blue Ox base plate like the part #BX2253 to a Demco tow bar would be the part #DM9523041 and you'd be set. Do you have the rest of your flat towing setup picked out already as well?
