Features to know about

Keeps Your Trailer Level: 2-3/4" Rise for a Balanced Tow

When your trailer sits level, everything tows smoother and safer. This mount’s 2-3/4" rise helps line up your coupler with low or mid-height trailers so your setup looks right and pulls steady. The 2" x 2" shank fits standard receivers, and at 8" from pin hole to ball center, it’s built for consistent height and stability on the road.

Ready to Tow Right Away: Pre-Torqued 2" Hitch Ball

No tools, no extra steps. The hitch ball comes pre-torqued to factory specs, so you can slide it into your receiver, secure it with the included pin and clip, and start towing. It’s one less setup step to worry about—just hook up your trailer and go.

Built to Last: Steel Construction with Double-Layer Protection

Road grime and weather can wear down a hitch fast, but this one’s made to hold up. The steel shank has an e-coat under a matte black powder coat for two layers of rust protection. On top of that, the ball and hitch pin have a black nickel finish that resists corrosion while keeping a clean look season after season.

Close-up of the etrailer ball mount with pre-torqued 2-inch ball inserted into a trailer hitch receiver, showing matte black finish and corrosion-resistant coating.

Dependable Strength for Everyday Hauling: 7,500 lbs GTW Rating

Whether you’re moving a small camper or weekend gear, you can count on solid performance. This fixed mount handles up to 7,500 lbs gross towing weight and 750 lbs tongue weight. The simple one-ball design keeps everything tight and rattle-free while you tow.

Smooth Hookups Every Time: Tight Fit That Reduces Rattle

Nobody likes extra movement in the receiver. The hitch pin fits snugly to minimize play between the shank and receiver, giving you a quieter ride and smoother start every time you pull out. It’s a small detail that makes every hookup feel solid.

Everything looks great

by:

I had to go round and round with the USPS, but I did get ahold of this product. The product is exactly what I thought it would be, and I am looking forward to using it, in the near future.

by:

Excellent high-quality product and it gave me the exact rise I needed in my setup. It fits nice and it looks great. You can't go wrong with this product, and it makes the whole installation process look very professional.

by:

Compared to other receivers I have seen, this one tends to be a bit closer the the bumper. I am not sure if it's the receiver slot on the hitch or the receiver itself. Use a longer receiver if using in this configuration (21 Chevy Trax). Construction and material.have a high quality matte finish which appears to resist corrosion more. Time will tell

by:

This works perfectly with the hitch I also bought through etrailer. Price is on target, and delivery fast. Everything went smooth onto my 2007 Honda van. I'll be back!

by:

It did what it is supposed to do.

by:

It looks like it'll work great, but along with my trailer hitch that was also damaged when I received it, this ball mount has some nicks in the paint that I now have to fix before I install and use it. I use this to tow my boat and rust is my biggest enemy as I launch in saltwater.

by:

Great product, in stock, and arrived 2 days early

by:

Works great. We ended up getting a truck and in turn, needed a 4" drop instead. Was able to remove the ball and install it with a drop and has worked perfectly. Thank you!

by:

Perfect fit. Fast shipping and great communication. Thanks

by:

Haven't used it yet
Looks great
Measures
out perfect and built heavy duty
Very pleased with it so far

by:

Perfect! Super fast shipping!!

by:

Wonderful product
Wonderful customer
oriented service!

by:

I havent gotten to tow my boat yet because I am switching from a bumper hitch and am still getting wires extended and safety chains longer. BUT this hitch is amazing quality compared to any crap on amazon and the nickel finish looks great. 100% recommend.

by:

Looks very sturdy, have not used it yet.Fast shipping, good prices and service. Would highly recommend

by:

Just what I needed. Measured from the floor to the center of the ball, 18 1/2 inches for towing a u-haul trailer. This is what they say for hauling their trailers flat.

by:

Worked great. Used it with our 2019 Honda CRV to tow a U-Haul trailer 650 miles. No issues. Also, initially I thought it was too much rise, but I'm glad I got it because I had underestimated how much lower the car was to the trailer especially when loaded. There was a little clunking but to be expected when towing.

by:

Fast shipping, and great product quality

by:

Correct fit. Works with my etrailer locking hitch pin thingy.

by:

Solid build, properly torqued, fast shipping, friendly support.

  • Recommended Hitch and Wiring for 2025 Toyota Sienna
Hi Greg; we do carry a hitch and wiring for your 2025 Sienna. The best hitch is the etrailer # e56RR. This has a 2" receiver, bolt-on installation, and a matte black powder coat finish. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. For wiring you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C53VV which has a plug and play installation. You will also need a ball mount like the # e38NR to complete your setup.

  • Can Cargo Box and Bike Rack Fit on a Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer
Hey Tanya, thanks for reaching out! To tow your trailer you'll need a ball mount with a 2" rise and for that I recommend going with the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # e38NR. This gives you a 2-3/4" rise but that will still work for your application. The Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MAL25FR can accommodate the Malone Pilot Trailer Bike Rack # MPG2100, but while the Storage Trunk # MPG481 will physically be able to fit inside the frame of your trailer, I don't believe you'll be able to...

Hello Matt, Thanks for writing in! I'm glad you found us. We did originally have the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118784 listed as a fit for the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz. However, we had to remove it from our fit guide after hearing from some customers whose vehicles did not have the connector needed for installation. We also noticed Hyundai changed the factory wiring part number from the 2024 model year to the 2025 model year, which tells us there...

  • Does Curt Hitch for 2025 Toyota Crown Signia Need 4-Way Mounting Bracket
Hey Blaise, with the Curt hitch # C35MJ installed on your 2025 Crown Signia it doesn't have a 4-way bracket built in like you noticed but the Curt kit part # C59236 would actually get stored in the rear cargo area of your vehicle when not in use so a bracket wouldn't be needed. With that said this is a universal style wiring kit and it does require splicing. I am sure we will get a plug and play option at some point but we don't have it quite yet. The Curt ball mount part # C45155 is...

Hey James, thanks for reaching out - I'd be more than happy to help you find the best parts for your 2011 Toyota Prius! I currently own a 2009 Prius so definitely get where you're coming from, and there are 2 main things you'll want to consider when choosing a hitch; ground clearance, and strength. The best hitch to address both of these concerns is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7178 because it has a stronger tongue weight rating than the other options, and it has a...

Hey Art, we can help but we don't have a ball mount that has the ball pre-installed and torqued in the configuration you are wanting. So you would want to start with a ball mount that has a 4 inch rise like the TowSmart # TS78FR and then add a 2 inch ball to it with the part # 40038 and you'd have what you are looking for.

  • What Hitch and Trailer Wiring do I Need for My 2025 Hyundai Tucson?
Hello Dan, Congrats on the new 2025 Hyundai Tucson! What is your new favorite feature? At this time there is not any "plug-n-play" wiring for the 2025 Hyundai Tucson, I am sure the aftermarket guys are working hard to come up with a wiring harness. The vehicle must have had electrical changes from the 2024 to the 2025, so you will have to check back. If you wanted to splice in a harness, you could go with the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236....

Hello Hal, Congrats on the new ride! What is your favorite new feature? With any aftermarket hitch there is the possibility that the hands free tailgate sensor will be covered. So if you install B&W Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # BW47BR on your 2025 Toyota RAV4 it is possible to lose full capabilities of your hands free tailgate, in our experience you can usually maneuver your foot to the right or the left of the receiver to have the sensor work. Thanks for reaching out and your purchase of the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e93ZR for your 2022 Nissan Rogue! To choose the correct ball mount you'll need to figure out the difference between the height of your hitch receiver and your trailer coupler. To measure your hitch receiver height you'll measure from the ground to the top inside of your receiver. When we installed this on a 2021 Rogue we found this height to be 11-3/4". Hey AJ! How much of a rise do you need from the ball mount? The etrailer Ball Mount # e38NR has a 2-3/4" rise but there are other options. The best thing to do is measure your hitch and the trailer. Get your hitch height measured from the ground to the top of the receiver opening, then the coupler height. Then use the following formula: Hitch Height (A) - Coupler Height (B) = Rise/Drop (C) If you can get me these measurements, or tell me how much rise you need, I can see what the best...
