Availability of Ball Mount With Greater Rise for 2026 Chevy Equinox

Question:
Do you offer any 2 balls that are raised more than 2? I mounted a hitch to my 2026 equinox and it is only about 11 off the ground so I need something to help keep trailer more level when towing.

Hey AJ! How much of a rise do you need from the ball mount? The etrailer Ball Mount # e38NR has a 2-3/4" rise but there are other options. The best thing to do is measure your hitch and the trailer. Get your hitch height measured from the ground to the top of the receiver opening, then the coupler height. Then use the following formula:
Hitch Height (A) - Coupler Height (B) = Rise/Drop (C)
If you can get me these measurements, or tell me how much rise you need, I can see what the best fit would be for your setup. What kind of trailer are you towing?

I needed a 3” drop from my Frontier to my boat trailer. You could flip the hitch and use for a 3” lift if needed. Sturdy feeling. Seems well made. Fits well in the receiver.

I purchased the etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball for a 2" Hitch with a 2-3/4" Rise - rated at 7,500 lbs - I have a 2002 Suburban with a receiver height of 16 3/4" and I'm towing a 2025 Casita travel trailer - the 2 3/4" rise was perfect for the recommended ball ball height by the manufacturer. I highly recommend using a formula to determine your rise. For example, Casita recommends 22-23 inches for the ball height - while U-Haul recommends 18 1/2 to 18 3/4 ball height for their trailers - so I have one hitch/ball dedicated for Casita trailering and one hitch/ball dedicated for my general/U-Haul trailering. The quality of the product is excellent and shipping / customer experience was also great!
