Thanks for reaching out and your purchase of the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e93ZR for your 2022 Nissan Rogue!
To choose the correct ball mount you'll need to figure out the difference between the height of your hitch receiver and your trailer coupler. To measure your hitch receiver height you'll measure from the ground to the top inside of your receiver. When we installed this on a 2021 Rogue we found this height to be 11-3/4".
Then for your trailer coupler height you'll need to level your trailer and measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler itself.
If your hitch height is higher you need a ball mount with a drop, but if it's lower than the coupler you need a ball mount with a rise. Your 11-3/4" hitch height is a little lower than what most standard trailers have so you likely need something with a small rise like what we have in our towing kit # e38NR. This comes with a 2-3/4" rise which should get you in at about level with most trailers you'll want to tow.
Attached is an installation video of this on a 2021 model as well as a review video of the ball mount kit for you to check out. I've linked our helpful article about choosing a ball mount for you to reference as well to make sure you get the correct ball mount for your application.
To complete your towing setup you also need a wiring kit to activate your trailer lights and for that I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK76FR which I'm linking a review video about as well.
