Updated 07/20/2026 | Published 07/15/2026

Question:

Hello, I hope you are doing well. I am writing to inquire about a trailer hitch for my 2026 Toyota Sienna Hybrid. Could you please let me know what trailer hitch options are available for this vehicle, including pricing, installation costs, and estimated availability? I would also appreciate information regarding the towing capacity and any recommendations you may have for accessories such as wiring harnesses or bike rack compatibility. Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Corrina Walsh

Hey Corrina! We actually have hitches and wiring available right now for your 2026 Sienna Hybrid. For a hitch I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22UR. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and a bolt-on installation.

The max tongue weight/gross towing weight is 350/3,500 lbs which is in-line with the capabilities of your Sienna. The only bike racks that won't work with this hitch are vertical hanging bike racks.

Then for wiring, you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C53VV. This plugs into the connector in your rear cargo area and will provide you with a 4-way to power the signal lights on your trailer. If you need a ball mount, check out the # e38NR.

Pricing is listed under the parts at the top of this page, down below, and on the actual product pages. I don't have an installation cost, but I did add a link for local installers if you want to get some quotes.

Do you have a bike rack with lights or will you be towing as well?

I bought and self installed. The installation is easy but do take care and make sure you have proper bracing support so the hitch doesn’t fall on your head. My sienna was pre wired so I had no electrical stuff to do deal with. I have since towed trailers and boats and it all works well.

Pretty easy install. It helps to have a second person hold up one end while you install the bolts on the other end. I was able to do it by myself using wooden blocks to hold up the opposite end. No need to jack the vehicle up, I just did the work at the end of the driveway curb where I had a little more room.
