Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Curt half inch diameter hitch pin and clip for the 1 1/4 inch hitches. Now this hitch pin will secure your ball mount or other hitch mount accessory in your 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. The included clip right here is what'll insert into the hole at the end of the pin to hold the pin in place. So basically when you install this, you'll put your ball mount or hitch accessory in, run this through all the holes. When it comes out the other side, you'll just take your clip, slide that in, and that'll hold it into place.
And then when you're ready to move it, just take your clip out, slide your pin out, and then you can move your accessory or ball mount. This is a sturdy steel construction. Has a nice corrosion resistant zinc plated finish. Application, as we mentioned, fits 1 1/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers. Pin diameter is a half an inch, and the usable length, which is gonna be measured from here to here on this pin is gonna be right at up two inches.
But that's gonna do it for a look at this Curt half inch diameter hitch pin and clip for 1 1/4 inch hitches.

I got the 36540 hitch for my Camry to use when the pickup is not available. If you do the same, don't get this F-4 pin (the angle is wrong for the chain hookups) get the PC2 Pin and Clip instead.
I highly recommend etrailer hitch and wiring harness They were both easy to install. The Prius pull the motorcycle camping trailer very well. You would not even know it was hooked to the car
I ordered a trailer hitch and several other items that I needed for the install from etrailer. I will not get a chance to do the install for a week or so; but I have to comment on the delivery. My package arrived in just a few days. I get lots of items shipped to me; but just the care that was taken in the packaging really impressed me. The smaller items all came neatly packaged in a separate box within the shipping container. All items were securely packaged so there was no shifting or rattling. The outside box was heavy cardboard with a perfectly placed lifting handle. I've checked all the items out and everything is there, and the quality of all the products is excellent. I have no doubt that I will be pleased with the outcome of the install itself. Very impressive so far. I will likely be ordering more products from this company in the future.
Etrailer was recommended by other Mini Cooper drivers in Anchorage, AK. I needed a trailer hitch in a rush as I need to relocate back to the lower 48 because of COVID-19. Ordered a ball hitch, hitch cover, draw bar, and hitch pin for a 1 1/4" receiver so I can use a utility trailer to haul my 7' dingy down to the shore. We have a hybrid vehicle so hauling is not recommended but the distance is less than a mile and the total weight is less than 300 lbs. I shopped in vain to find the right size for our receiver but then I found etrailer. Couldn't be more pleased with the prices, communication and delivery! 5 stars absolutely.
The receiver hitch with a 5 inch raise that I ordered was the only one I could find at a reasonable price. I live in Green Bay, WI. and I could not find one anywhere.

I am so glad I decided to do this. I am a novice and it took my a little longer to install it but I had no issues. It is very sturdy and stable. This allowed me to install a lockable bike rack for mountain biking trips. I have been using this for 2 months now on 7 or 8 mountain bike outings and this hitch is solid. Great purchase. Well worth it.
This was such an awesome experience!!! My husband and I stumbled across etrailer.com when we searched online on how to install a hitch. We then purchased all the materials needed directly from the website. Neither of us know a whole lot about cars but were able to easily install the hitch and wiring by watching the video and the paper instructions sent with the products. The part of this experience I am MOST impressed by is when I got a call shortly after placing my online order to let me know that what I had originally purchased was not compatible with each other. She then continued to efficiently and successfully modify my order to all the right products needed and I didn’t have to do a thing! If that’s not great customer service then I don’t know what is!!! It’s a hitch pin, it worked great. I don’t leave my hitch on 24/7. I would recommend a locking hitch pin if you plan on leaving your hitch on permanently. I only use mine a few times per year, so this one was perfect.
The pin can only rotate so far because it hits the chain loop in the hitch. Making it difficult to clip the clip into the hole because it is at such an angle that the bumper of the car blocks you from being able to clip it in easy. If the hole was drilled down a smidgen, it would make it sooooo much easier!
I bought the pin also with the hitch and reciever. It works perfect, no problems with it .
I ordered parts for trailer hitch and lights a year ago. My car guys installed it apparently with no problem. There was no problem with my order and the product has worked just fine. The hitch has been used to pull a trailer and to hold a bike rack. I am pleased! Thanks!

I ordered the Extra Large Cargo Bag along with the 24x60 Pro Series Cargo Carrier and some hitch hardware so that I could move a whole lot of stuff from a house sale in MN to FL.
The delivery from ETrailer was quick and the ordered products were of the highest quality. Assembly of the Cargo Carrier was quick and easy and all instructions were clear and understandable.
My wife was amazed with the size and quality of the Cargo Bag and its simple six sturdy attachments for use with the Cargo Carrier. We were able to fit all of our extra belongings into the Cargo Bag and they remained perfectly dry during the 1,700 mile trip from MN to FL during the recent August rains.
The carrier was less expensive than renting a small trailer and I can use it again and again, anytime I need that "extra carrying space".

Repeated support from the etrailer staff has been EXCELLENT
works well, but with the particular hitch, the safety chain loops make getting the clip in the pin hole a little difficult. Slightly longer pin would be great

We do have a hitch pin that would be longer, it is 3 inches with its usable length, part # ML1495DAT. And it also doubles as lock.
Rcvd my hitch today (one day earlier than predicted by etrailer when I ordered...well done!). Everything was received as expected/requested.
Crawled under the car and started installation immediately. Piece of cake really; although some people would struggle with the tight space, 13 year old car, and need to clean threads, and remove caulk/undercoat in order to achieve "hole alignment".
Hyundai also did a great job by having pre-threaded welded nuts in place.
So far.... a great product received in time to use this weekend (as was my plan).
Great job and great product by etrailer.
Also, the website was easy to use and the videos quite helpful.

Hitch etc is holding up fine. Routinely used to pull trailers up to 2000 lbs with a 2008 Hyundai Sonata. I avoid going over 55 mph, or sway is detectable.
Every part excellent quality. Perfect fit, all parts were exact for my vehicle. Watched the video on youtube for wiring and being a mechanic for over 50 years was able to connect signal lights all from driver side of harness. Instead of leaving plug inside trunk I wired through the rubber outlet to the back of the hitch ready for use. Very happy highly recommend etrailer.

Quick. Fair Price. Excellent Communication. First, we ordered the hitch and had it installed. Then we needed the perfect fit for the task at hand: to pull a tank with gray water through a campground. Very specific. Just for our toad, a Smart car.

Works as advertised
Great product, tho directions called for 19mm socket (actually uses 18mm socket). Installed in my driveway using common tools, and drove the rear wheels up on some blocks of wood to get a couple extra inches of space to work. I loved the 'fishing wires' that came with to get the bolts and spacers through the holes - how clever!
This is used on my John Deere X739 to primarily move trailers and my Waverunner around in conjunction with a draw bar and a ball of course. No complaints.
It finally came! It took about 2 weeks to arrive. I got to put it to use and it works great!
