I confirmed compatibility with Curt's fit guide and also with one of their technicians. The written instructions and a helpful installation article are both linked to assist you. Tools required are listed in the instructions.

If you plan to tow you will also need trailer wiring; use part # HM40975-11933 if you have the factory tow package or part # 118425 if you do not have the tow package. For a towing ball mount use part # C45522 along with pin/clip # F-4. For a hitch ball use either 2-inch ball # C40018 or 1-7/8-inch ball # C40001.

If instead your goal is to use a hitch-mount cargo or bike carrier you'll want to be sure to select one that is compatible with this 1-1/4-inch Class I hitch. For a compatible cargo carrier you can use Curt model # C18110 and for a 2-bike rack you can use Class I racks such as platform-style # S64650 or hanging-style rack # TH9058.

Thank you for the detailed instructions. I have got the tow package. Though the car sided connector is dirrerent. Wider, with the red tab on it. Could you please help me?

@Maarten I don't see any variations between models. Did you try using the wiring harness from above and it didn't match up? If it is some kind of export that might explain it having a different connector. If not, it is possible you're looking at the wrong one. You can respond to the email that brought you to this comment response and attach a picture if you have one.
