The Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer # Y08129 weighs in at 175 lbs so as long as Honda has said it's okay to tow a trailer with your 2017 Honda Civic. I tried looking this up in the owner's manual but wasn't able to find any online manuals to confirm this.
If you don't already have towing parts for your Honda Civic then I recommend picking up the following to accomplish this:
- Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24954
- Wiring (see attached link for different options)
- Ball Mount Parts # C45028, # 19258, and # F-4
