Question:
That hitch looks great except that it hangs kind of low which will impede on ground clearance. Do you have anything that fits in a lower profile? My question is the wiring as well. I’ve heard many nightmares about how the car reacts with towing in that the rear and side sensors and back up sensors all get out of whack when installing towing wiring harness. How will my car act when hooking up a trailer wiring? Will the transmission shift differently? As you know I’m new here and am learning ( Thanks again!

For your 2014 Audi Allroad B8.5, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11195 which is a confirmed fit. Then you will need a ball mount like # C45521 and Pin and Clip # F-4.
Then you'll need a hitch ball. I recommend # A-82 for a 2 inch ball or # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch diameter hitch ball to match your trailer coupler.
For your wiring, I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. This will allow you to connect to your factory wiring using quick splice connectors and will protect your system by using a converter that is powered directly by your vehicle battery. I've attached an article to assist.
You will not need an electric brake controller or suspension enhancement for the size trailer and load capacity of your vehicle. A new air filter will help some, but is not required to tow.
