Perfect for light-duty towing, this custom, vehicle trailer hitch receiver features fully welded, gloss powder coated steel construction. Drawbar sold separately.It wasn't until after I installed this unit that I read in the product literature that a stabilizer strap is required for all non-trailer (wheel-less) loads. I bought the hitch to receive a platform bike rack so I wouldn't have to be strapping things to the vehicle. I will be replacing this with a Draw-Tite hitch, which doesn't require stabilizing straps. Because I installed it, I could no longer return it. I feel that the detail about the straps should be on the product web page and not just on the pdf of the product literature.

I hauled a small uhaul trailer with my 2015 Toyota Corolla from Eastern NY to Western CA. That’s almost 2900 miles. I didn’t have a single issue hauling that kind of weight with my car. I didn’t install it myself, but having it professionally installed was easy as pie and hooking the trailer up to the hitch was simple enough for an amateur. If I ever had to buy a hitch again, I’d use etrailer in a heartbeat
The product is very good quality. I haven’t installed it yet but it looks like a good fit with good parts. etrailer.com is a very organized service with friendly, excellent customer service. I will order from this site going forward whenever I need parts for my car.
I check the mounting holes and they were blocked up, so I sprayed wd40 in there and scrubbed the holes with a small wire brush. Made the holes were and easy to screw the bolts in. Mounted the receiver hitch by myself and torqued it down. Really like it, may use it for other things besides the bike.
Just installed the hitch 2 days ago and used it for the first time yesterday. It is extremely well made and very solid. Everything lined up perfectly to fit my 2009 Corolla and installation was a breeze. All hardware is included. I used a 1-1/4 In. To 2 In. Hitch Adapter for my bike rack and it worked great.
I had picked this brand in particular because one of my friends uses this brand on his car. This is a very well built, sturdy, and clean finished hitch. It came in well packaged and with all the necessary hardware secured and not rattling around. The installation was easy as it was shown on their instructional videos (I even skipped a step i found unnecessary and was still able to install the hitch by myself). The 1.25 hitch was perfect for installing my new bike rack. I'd definitely get this brand hitch again and will refer Curt and the whole etrailer process for purchasing a hitch. A what looked to me a complicated process was made easy with etrailers
Cliff J - 06/28/2020I ordered this hitch for my 2014 Corolla for use with my Swagman XC bike rack. I am pleased with the quality of this hitch, it is much heavier duty than I expected. It bolted up easily with the supplied hardware and looks great. Hardly noticeable. The bike rack fits perfectly. Now I am ready to hit the trails.

Its my 6th hitch I've bought from etrailer. Each has been a perfect fit, and bolts right up in about 20 minutes. Took me longer to find my tools in the garage then it did to put it on.
No problems as usual, and looks sharp.
If you are putting it on a car with road miles, be sure to clean out the factory bolt holes a bit. Quite a bit of road debris in mine
This hitch fits like a glove and looks and feels like a quality hitch. Mounted and ready to go in less than 10 minutes. The bolt holes in the frame of most vehicles will have a small amount of paint on the threads. If you start the bolts and then remove before mounting hitch it will save a lot aggravation as starting the bolts can sometimes take effort when paint and road grime are present. I learned this mounting another hitch. A small amount of WD-40 doesn’t hurt either. Shipping was lightening fast, arriving the next day- yes less than 24 hours ( I do live in the same state but nonetheless it takes a staff on the move to get items out the door as quick as etrailer. ) Another great experience with this company.

Perfect alignment with installation holes on my 2007 Toyota Corolla. I did have to buy 7/16" fine thread bolts as the M12 that came with the hitch didn't work. But upon obtaining right fit bolts, it took 10 to 15 minutes to install. I am absolutely pleased with the hitch.

mark s - 03/12/2017Fast amazing service and shipping! Really like the fit and finish, nice thick saftey chain loops and the re enforcing ring around the receiver tube is nice. The hardest part of this instalation was cleaning out the holes in the car frame (12 year old car), but after that, it was a 10 minute job. Very pleased with the hitch AND etrailer service!

It looks great and feels strong. the problem was I got the wrong receiver size for the hitch I have. hopefully I can work with etrailer and get the right one so I can leave a proper review!

It fit like the instruction indicated, but my old car required some hard core weld bolt cleaning, tapping and drilling. It was a good learning experience for me since I got to use some of the tools that were not normally used on auto repair. I am ready for my next Curt's hitch and thinking about going big next time once I purchase something big enough to put the hitch on!

I was impressed with the quality of this hitch. Installation only took a few minutes and the fit was perfect.
Well-made and fits perfectly. Keeps ground clearance better than I'd anticipated. My install was somewhat difficult, but that was because the threads on the car needed to be cleaned better before bolting.
Exactly as described on the website. Came in no problem through the mail. Haven't installed yet but I put it up to the factory holes on the car and it fits perfectly.
