When your trailer lines up perfectly with your hitch, you don’t need extra adjustments—just a mount that fits clean and tows true. This Curt Solid 2-Ball Mount for 2" hitches gives you exactly that, with a fixed 0" drop and 0" rise. It keeps your trailer level for smooth pulling without any guesswork or setup changes.
Towing a large trailer or equipment hauler demands strength you can count on. This dual-ball mount lets you tow up to 7,500 lbs with the 2" ball or 10,000 lbs with the 2-5/16" ball. The solid steel shank delivers maximum strength and durability so you can hitch up heavy loads knowing your connection point is rock solid every time.
If you move between trailers with different coupler sizes, swapping gear shouldn’t slow you down. The reversible design allows you to use either the 2" or the 2-5/16" ball—just remove the mount from the receiver, rotate it, and slide it back in. It’s a quick switch that keeps you ready for whatever trailer you’re towing next.
Rust and road grime can take their toll on towing gear, but this mount’s durable black powder coat finish resists corrosion trip after trip. Both the steel shank and the hitch balls have that same tough coating, giving the whole setup long-term protection and a clean look even after years of use.
No moving parts means fewer things to rattle or wear out. The one-piece solid steel shank slides right into your 2" x 2" hitch receiver and stays steady mile after mile. Just secure it with your own hitch pin or lock (sold separately) and you’re ready to roll with a dependable connection built to last.

Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at your options for multi ball mounts by Curt. If you have a two inch hitch and multiple different trailers, you plan on hauling, we have a couple different ball mounts that are really going to be the Swiss army knife of ball mounts. You've got to buy one and it's going to take care of all those needs you may have when hauling. They have a couple of similarities and a couple of differences, so we're going to go over all of those with you now. So we're going to have some that are just going to have two balls and then some are going to have three.
These have pretty much the same exact specs, but there's a couple of little bit of differences.First things first, the three ball mount is going to include an inch and 7/8ths ball, and the two ball mount is not. The inch and 7/8ths ball is going to have a gross trailer weight of 5,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 500 pounds. Our two inch ball on all three is going to have a gross trailer weight of 7,500 pounds and a tongue weight of 750 pounds. And all three are also going to have a two and 5/16ths inch ball on top, and that's going to have a gross trailer weight of 10,000 pounds with a tongue weight of 1,000 pounds. All of them are going to be made of a steel construction.
They do have hollow shanks and they have a nice powder-coated finish. Both the three and the two are going to have an overall length of one foot. They have a steel construction with a hollow shank, and they are going to come with a powder-coated finish and two different color options. You can either get chrome or you can get the black powder-coated balls.Let's take some measurements. On the three ball from the center of the hitch pin hole to the inch and 7/8ths and two inch ball it's going to be about...
And then from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the two and 5/16ths ball, it is going to be about. On our two ball mount from the center of the hitch pin hole to the two inch and inch and 7/8ths ball to the very center, It's going to be about eight and a quarter inches. Now we can go ahead and put the ball mount in. I'm going to be using the two and 5/16ths inch ball, and I am going to be using etrailer lock, 5/8ths inch diameter, just because I like to have that added comfort whenever I leave my ball mount in my hitch.I have a stock Tahoe and it's really the average ride height for most vehicles you're going to be hauling with, so I really don't need a rise or drop. So this straight shank multi ball is perfect.
To sum it all up, if you don't have a vehicle that's a little bit higher than your stock ride height, maybe you have bigger tires, maybe a tiny bit of lift, this is going to be the great way to get a really cost-effective ball mount that's going to cover all of your bases. And that's going to do it for our look at the options for Curt multi ball mounts..

Nice heavy duty hitch. Works well with truck and dump trailer. Long 10 inches from ball to pin hole tailgate comes down and doesn't hit trailer jack
Received everything I ordered within just a few days of placing order. etrailer was great about informing me of a product they were currently out of, but supplied a date that the products should received. I was surprised to find out that my order was filled and shipped in a couple of days after hearing of the back order. Will refer etrailer to friends for quality products and service!
its perfect...thank you
Wow. Heavy duty. This is literally a single solid piece. No fasteners. No welds. May exceed your vehicle's tongue weight (just kidding). This takes care of both of my trailers' tendency to sit a little "nose low".
You can also use this for weight traini ng.
Literally a solid hitch, not just hollow tubing. I use to tow my boat and is rated more than I need but why cut it close! This hitch also has enough room for my Rock Tamers to be used.
This is the most customer focused well organized company I've ever done business with. Both on a personal and business level.
Sooooooo - what do you think? Are we doing OK? I think so. You should come join us. On Friday we are leaving for the Texas Big Bend region.
I do have ONE NEED! But I don't think you can help me. I need a padded zipper-case to put the hitch in when I remove it from the JEEP. I never leave the hitch in when off-roading. But the one I am using is long!
Happy wish the two ball had hook on both sides
The order for a IV 10k . 2/5/16 and 2 inch ball was on time . It is in great shape

Great quality, Great price.
This was the perfect hitch we were looking for. Ordering was fast and easy. We placed the order on a Friday and received it the next Tuesday. We are very pleased; thank you etrailer.
as with everything I've ordered from etrailer, this item arrived quickly and I was very pleased with the quality. always nice when that happens.
Great service from etrailer , fast shipping , great prices , excellent products , very well packaged
Curt Quality, etrailer service. Both AAA+++
Always have what I need for a great price.
This thing is very solid and heavy duty; it weighs in at 16.8 pounds. I haven't pulled with it yet, but I believe it's exactly what I needed to pull the two trailers I need to pull (2" ball, and 2 5/16" ball).
Don't see the needed to make it from solid steel.. heavy, seems wasteful. Wish I would have gotten the hollow one with chromed balls, same load capacity. Can't imagine the powder coat holding up long.
