The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today, on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee, we'll be taking a look at the WeatherTech second row floor mats, part number WT445662. This is also available in tan, part number WT455662, and in gray, part number WT465662. Here, we have our second row floor mats installed. As you can see, we're going to have these channels all along the bottom that are going to divert dirt, debris, and water from our corners so that it doesn't get onto our carpet. Along with that, we'll have the raised edge that's contoured to our vehicle to prevent the dirt, debris, or liquid from getting off of our liner onto our carpet. The WeatherTech floor mats fit all the way across to give us maximum coverage, as well as have the textured bottom to prevent our feet from slipping. Now that we've gone over some features, we'll show you how to get this installed. We've gone ahead and removed our factory floor mats.
We're going to take our new WeatherTech mat and simply slide it into place. We can just push the mat down and make sure that it's in place. The floor mat is quick and easy to clean. Simply remove it, clean with soap and water, rinse with water, and either towel dry or air dry. That's going to complete our look at the WeatherTech second row floor mats in black, part number WT445662, on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee.
