Video Transcript for Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster Review tcma1

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters. They're available for passenger vehicles, with part number TCMA1. That'll work with wheel sizes between 13 and 20 inches. They're available for light trucks, with part number TCMA 2. This will work with wheel sizes between 14 and 24 inches. Finally, they're available for heavy duty trucks, with part number TCMA3.

These will work with wheel sizes between 15 and 24 and a half inches. These rubber adjusters are designed to work with most Titan Tire Chains. They're going to give you the extra tension you need to make them nice and snug around your tire. They stretch for constant tension, providing a tight and secure fit. Our rubber adjusters attach to the center ring here, which allows it to maintain tension even if one arm breaks. Our attachment hooks make it easy to install.

We'll go ahead and show you that now. We've already got our Titan Chain installed, and as you can see, it's a little loose. Which, is a common problem. That's what our Titan Rubber Adjuster is here to fix. You'll want to be sure that the hooks are facing away from the tire. What we're going to do is go ahead and start by hooking the top.

Then, we're going to go directly across, hook the bottom, and then just work our way around. As you can see, it's already starting to tighten up that cable. That's what we want. Now, after you've got it installed, you can go ahead and put one on the other side. Once you've got them both installed, it's a good idea to drive a short distance, and then stop, get out, and check to see if you need to make further adjustments to your chain. That's going to complete our look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters..

These are easy to install and work very well!

These are worth getting. Its faster and easier to install the chains since they make sure the chains dont move on the tire.

Excellent tire chains, and incredible service!! I highly recommend trailer…and these tire chains!!

One of the arms snapped on the first installation. Not happy with the quality of these.

To be honest I have experienced this myself. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.

Delivery was excellent; chains and tensioners arrived one day ahead of the promised date. They appear very well made, the price was competitive and shipping was free. etrailer communicated very well all through the process, from ordering to notification of shipping to follow-up after receipt. I did a dry-run installation and it went exactly as the online video showed. Looking forward to trying them out in snow! I would recommend etrailer to anyone in need of snow chains.

Theses are very easy to install,,takes up the slack /chain rumble,,I also cut four excess links off to customize my 265x75x16" tires fit,,not necessary,,but works for me.

Chains are a little loose on my tires, so the snubbers are needed. They work well. I haven't tried them at speed though.

I purchased four of these 'just-in-case' chain adjusters as an alternative or backup to the four chain and spring chain adjusters I already purchased. These adjusters are what I call 'insurance' as we begin traveling full-time for our third year in a row in our truck and camper trailer. I have not had to use these adjusters but I'm glad to have them on board.

Worked great for my tire chains. Kept the chains tight from slipping.

Not needed but added to tire chains help keep tight. Heavt duty and took abuse of Mt.

Put chains on with rubber adjusters. On truck ALL winter long and both worked great. A little worn but considering the use they should have been destroyed and are not.

The Titan Multi-Arm rubber tire chain adjusters are a pleasure to use compared to my old method of using individual rubber bungees. I bought these with my new Titan V-Bar snow chains and have driven out into the snowy woods a couple of times since installing them. The rubber adjusters are keeping my chains tight and secure. I did learn that the installation is easier if you hook the first arm at 12 o'clock, second at 6 o'clock, third at 2 o'clock, fourth at 8 o'clock, fifth at 10 o'clock and last at 4 o'clock. This method keeps the center ring centered on the wheel and allows you to pull down against the arm 180º across from the one you are hooking.

I used separate individual rubber tensioners to tighten my truck tire chains. I ordered Titan TCMA2 chain adjusters and they worked more efficiently. The chain adjusters were easy to install and provided even six points of tension. I would recommend to anyone who orders truck chains.

great tensioners, i used them on my tru ck

Chains fit perfectly and installed in minutes. Rubber chain adjusters are a great accessory.
Thanks to Kimberly in customer support for getting the right chains and recommending the adjusters.
I'm very happy with the purchase and support from e-trailer and will be purchasing from them again.

I purchased these chains, installed them for a check fit and kept them in the truck on my trip down to California driving the mountain passes in Oregon and California...As luck would have it I never had to chain up going south or when returning back home going north!!I am still highly impressed with the chains and I am glad that I purchased them from Etrailer!!

It’s very important to use Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster so that the chains are tight and don’t scratch rims.

performed excellent in the mud and snow off road, didn't interfere with factory air bag leveling system, clearance was great

Professional and helpful assistance in ordering Titan chains, via "First-time" installation was uneventful, due in part to the excellent video assistance. Highly recommended.

Perfectly described. Perfect fit.

2017 Tacoma_Got the tire chains today. Test fitted them and they seem to fit well. Actually have 8 inches on the ground and got to crawl around a bit. Good customer service now and in the past. I recommend etrailer for sure.

Kept my chains nice and tight.

Very good quality

Seem pretty good, hope they dont break.

Good chain tensioners!

Nice quality.

Super easy to use, makes installing the cables so much easier.

  • What Tire Chains do You Recommend for My 2019 Toyota Highlander with 245/60-18 Tires?
Since you mention built-in cams, I believe you are referring to the Titan Snow Chains - V-Bar - Cams # TC2829CAM for your 245/60-18 tires on your 2019 Toyota Highlander. We do also sell these chains without the cams as part # TC2829. The only difference is that the # TC2829CAM are only approved for on-road use while the # TC2829 can be approved for on-road and off-road use. The V-bar links on both of these chains are not harder on the tires as long as you plan to use them in on snowy surfaces....

  • How to Maintain Correct Tension of Tire Chains
Since all tire chains fit more than one tire size rubber chain tension adjustors like # TCMA2 can be installed to take up any slack and maintain correct tension so that chains remain in place on the tires. The Titan Ladder Pattern V-Bar Snow Tire Chains # TC3829 you referenced are a confirmed fit for the 285/70-17 tires on your truck. Always check your vehicle owner's manual for any guidance or restrictions regarding use of tire chains.

  • Are Chain Tensioners Needed For The Glaicer Twist Link Snow Chains On a 2016 Ram ProMaster 2500?
With any manually adjusted tire chains like the Glacier Twist Link Snow Tire Chains # PWH2219SC that you have for your 2016 Ram ProMaster 2500, I do recommend using tensioners. The Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks # TCMA2 will help to ensure that the chains remain tight on your tires so they are not slipping in between adjustments. Having the chains snug will help prevent damage to the tires while you are using the tire chains.

  • Recommended Snow Tire Chains For 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon w/ 285/70-17 Tires
I took a look in the owners manual and found that your 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon with 285/70-17 tires are able to use tire chains (on the rear tires) and better yet, are not restricted to Class S chains in regards to clearance. So with that in mind, the chains I highly recommend for your '17 Ram are from Titan: - Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w/ Cams for Wide Base Tires - Ladder Pattern - V-Bar Link # TC3829CAM The Titan # TC3829CAM are a superb overall option due to their design. I looked at the owner's manual for your 2015 Ford F-150 and it states to use Class S tire chains on the front tires only and to not exceed 30 mph. The Class S indication is to help with clearance between the tires and any part of your truck so there isn't any damage. The best tire chains, in my opinion, on your truck with 265/60R18 size tires is the Konig # TH2004705265 chains. They're incredibly easy to install and self tighten as you drive. They're also Class S compatible and made...

From the sound of your question, I assume you meant the # PW3029C instead of "TC3029C." Also, it sounds like you have size 275/70-18 tires on your 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty (single rear wheel). Per the Ford user's manual, I recommend only using Class S approved accessories. With that being said, if you want better traction and grip, I always recommend going with tire chains over cables. • Should 1 or 2 sets of Tire Chains Be Used On Ford F-350 with 35x12.5x18 Tires
Tire chains on both the front and back tires will provide more traction than if only one set of chains are installed on either the front or back tires. Sometimes one set of chains will provide enough traction, but two pairs of chains will provide additional traction. Additionally, wider tires do not always do as well in the snow and ice as skinnier tires, so for your wide tires 2 pairs of chains will likely work better for you. Yes, the Glacier Chains Cables, part # PW1042, fit on 225/50-18 sized tires. On a rim that size I recommend # TCMA2 for the rubber adjusters. Vehicle manufacturers often state in the owner's manual that you can't use tire chains because they might make contact with some part of the car. This is basically a liability thing for them.
