Video Transcript for Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster Review

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters. They're available for passenger vehicles, with part number TCMA1. That'll work with wheel sizes between 13 and 20 inches. They're available for light trucks, with part number TCMA 2. This will work with wheel sizes between 14 and 24 inches. Finally, they're available for heavy duty trucks, with part number TCMA3.

These will work with wheel sizes between 15 and 24 and a half inches. These rubber adjusters are designed to work with most Titan Tire Chains. They're going to give you the extra tension you need to make them nice and snug around your tire. They stretch for constant tension, providing a tight and secure fit. Our rubber adjusters attach to the center ring here, which allows it to maintain tension even if one arm breaks. Our attachment hooks make it easy to install.

We'll go ahead and show you that now. We've already got our Titan Chain installed, and as you can see, it's a little loose. Which, is a common problem. That's what our Titan Rubber Adjuster is here to fix. You'll want to be sure that the hooks are facing away from the tire. What we're going to do is go ahead and start by hooking the top.

Then, we're going to go directly across, hook the bottom, and then just work our way around. As you can see, it's already starting to tighten up that cable. That's what we want. Now, after you've got it installed, you can go ahead and put one on the other side. Once you've got them both installed, it's a good idea to drive a short distance, and then stop, get out, and check to see if you need to make further adjustments to your chain. That's going to complete our look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters..

bought the chains for my plowtruck, so obviously we have no snow right now
items arrived on time and got the items that I specified easy order process and good website with plenty of different style chains will update review once we have 2 feet of snow on the ground chains and chain adjusters

Comments

by:

Seem pretty good, hope they dont break.

Comments
Good chain tensioners!
Pete - 10/11/2022

by:

They didn't work at all with my front wheel covers as they had protruding fake bolts which the adjusters hung up on, and when the chains would slowly rotate on the tire, the adjusters got stretched and stretched until they broke. They worked fine on the rear.

by:

Received these yesterday and fits perfectly with TC2828CAM!

by: 11/06/2022

Used in a foot of snow in NW CO and I got up and down every road that we went on.

by:

They worked great when new. I left them on the truck for the summer and they rotted and completely fell apart from the sun. Total waste.

by:

Chains fit perfectly and installed in minutes. Rubber chain adjusters are a great accessory.
Thanks to Kimberly in customer support for getting the right chains and recommending the adjusters.
I'm very happy with the purchase and support from e-trailer and will be purchasing from them again.

by:

The ring in the center is plastic and one of mine was already broke. Im about to contact customer service to see what they can do for me. I think theres a set with a metal ring.

Comments
Oh no! We can definitely have this taken care of for you. I will have Customer Service reach out. We do have a pair of adjusters, part # TCSA2
Titan Chain Link and Spring Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks - 1 Pair

, that are metal versus rubber. They work with chains for 14 inch to 24 inch rims.

by:

Should work great with my new tire chains. I hope I never have to use them, but now I am prepared.

by:

Great quality product. Works well with my Titan Chains!

by:

I bought these to go hunting in Colorado. I haven't used them extensively, but they did fit my 2021 GMC ATR nicely and for a novice they seemed very straight forward to install. I would recommend purchasing the chain tensioners. You may want to cut the extra links off so they don't hit the rim. I just attached one of the tensioners to mine and it seemed to secure it.

by:

I used separate individual rubber tensioners to tighten my truck tire chains. I ordered Titan TCMA2 chain adjusters and they worked more efficiently. The chain adjusters were easy to install and provided even six points of tension. I would recommend to anyone who orders truck chains.

by:

Makes installation easier and keeps the chains in place.

by:

Work well with the tire chains purchased and easy to install.

by:

The Titan Multi-Arm rubber tire chain adjusters are a pleasure to use compared to my old method of using individual rubber bungees. I bought these with my new Titan V-Bar snow chains and have driven out into the snowy woods a couple of times since installing them. The rubber adjusters are keeping my chains tight and secure. I did learn that the installation is easier if you hook the first arm at 12 o'clock, second at 6 o'clock, third at 2 o'clock, fourth at 8 o'clock, fifth at 10 o'clock and last at 4 o'clock. This method keeps the center ring centered on the wheel and allows you to pull down against the arm 180º across from the one you are hooking.

by:

Excellent fast service. Adjusters were ordered as a precaution.

The above items were purchased for use on my 2000 Ford F350 crewcab 4X4 Truck.
Excellent website and easy to use.
Costs of items very competitive.
Shipping time was prompt! and items were well packaged.
Included several pictures of the items and of the installation on one of the Truck rear tire; LT285/75R 16 BFG all terrain tires...
Installation went well and there were no problems; everything looked good after the chains and tensioners were installed...
Hope this helps other folks out there.
Great products that I would highly recommend to other folks!!
Thanks, Henry

I purchased these chains, installed them for a check fit and kept them in the truck on my trip down to California driving the mountain passes in Oregon and California...As luck would have it I never had to chain up going south or when returning back home going north!!I am still highly impressed with the chains and I am glad that I purchased them from Etrailer!!

by:

At least I received what I ordered. Not sure how well they work and unless the chains for the other 3 tires show up they will not be of any use.

by:

It’s very important to use Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster so that the chains are tight and don’t scratch rims.

by:

They work well as represented

by:

Received on time as promised. I have not used them yet (waiting for snow) but the product looks good and should work well.

by:

easy to install and worked great.

by:

Not needed but added to tire chains help keep tight. Heavt duty and took abuse of Mt.

Comments
Put chains on with rubber adjusters. On truck ALL winter long and both worked great. A little worn but considering the use they should have been destroyed and are not.

The correct tire chain adjusters for 12x16.5 Skid Steer Tires will be the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters part # TCMA2. These fit 14" - 24" diameter wheels so the 16.5" wheels you have will be a great fit.

  • Chain Adjuster Recommendation for a New Holland Skid-Steer Tire Chain
The Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks # TCMA2 should work for your application. These are compatible rims 14" - 24" in diameter (not including the tire sidewall) so since your tire chain is 25" this will reach. All adjusters have about the same amount of durability so there aren't any that are classified as "heavy duty" necessarily.

  • Recommended Class S Tire Cables For 2003 Honda CR-V
I researched the CR-V owner's manual and found the same information you said you found. It clearly states you can use 'S' rated cables but not chains on your front tires. The cables I recommend for your Honda are the Titan Chain Cable Snow Chains, part # TC1034. These have a ladder pattern steel rollers, which gives you a smoother ride than typical chains do. To make sure the cables stay secure on the wheels I recommend using tire chain adjusters like part # TCMA2. As a rule of thumb,...

The 315/75-16 tires on your 2003 Ford F-250 are near the top of the list for the sizes of tires that fit Titan chains # TC2536. But there are a couple of larger sizes the chains will also fit. This means that the chains will fit well on your tire size. These chains will provide excellent traction in snow and ice and I have linked a video review of them for you. I also recommend rubber adjusters # TCMA2 to keep the chains tight and in place. be sure to consult the vehicle owner's manual...

These are Class S compatible and will work great on your tires. I also recommend using chain adjusters like part # TCMA2. These keep the tire chains tight and secure. • Will Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains Damage Wheels
The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link # TC2327 will not damage the wheels of your vehicle. While I understand your concern regarding the fact there's more overall space on the wheel vs. the rubber, so long as you have the appropriately-sized tire (I'll list the tire fits below for these chains), and install them tightly there's no cause for concern whatsoever. When installing, I do recommend the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters # TCMA2. I've...

  • Troubleshooting Tension Bar Coming Loose on Titan Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC2029
I spoke with my contact at Titan Chain regarding the problem you are having with the tension bar on the Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC2029. He said that if the tension bar is opening up while you drive then the chains actually aren't tight enough. Tension is what keeps that bar locked into place, so the only way it would open up is if there is too much slack/movement. When installing the chains make sure they are tight both on the inside and outside of the tire. You will want to be using...

Yes, the Glacier Chains Cables, part # PW1042, fit on 225/50-18 sized tires. On a rim that size I recommend # TCMA2 for the rubber adjusters. Vehicle manufacturers often state in the owner's manual that you can't use tire chains because they might make contact with some part of the car. This is basically a liability thing for them.
