Video Transcript for Checking Out the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Passenger Vehicles

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters. They're available for passenger vehicles, with part number TCMA1. That'll work with wheel sizes between 13 and 20 inches. They're available for light trucks, with part number TCMA 2. This will work with wheel sizes between 14 and 24 inches. Finally, they're available for heavy duty trucks, with part number TCMA3.

These will work with wheel sizes between 15 and 24 and a half inches. These rubber adjusters are designed to work with most Titan Tire Chains. They're going to give you the extra tension you need to make them nice and snug around your tire. They stretch for constant tension, providing a tight and secure fit. Our rubber adjusters attach to the center ring here, which allows it to maintain tension even if one arm breaks. Our attachment hooks make it easy to install.

We'll go ahead and show you that now. We've already got our Titan Chain installed, and as you can see, it's a little loose. Which, is a common problem. That's what our Titan Rubber Adjuster is here to fix. You'll want to be sure that the hooks are facing away from the tire. What we're going to do is go ahead and start by hooking the top.

Then, we're going to go directly across, hook the bottom, and then just work our way around. As you can see, it's already starting to tighten up that cable. That's what we want. Now, after you've got it installed, you can go ahead and put one on the other side. Once you've got them both installed, it's a good idea to drive a short distance, and then stop, get out, and check to see if you need to make further adjustments to your chain. That's going to complete our look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters..

Easy to install, feel fairly sturdy.

by:

Chain adjusters were delivered on time and fit as expected.

by:

Have not used chain adjusters at this time. I have installed them along with new snow chains to make sure that fitment was correct.

by:

These are a must have if you run chains on any vehicle. I originally bought them for my ATV then decided to get another pair for the truck. Takes some of the headache out of tire chain installation.

by:

Great the first year. Thought that since I had not used them much I would be able to use them again this year. They were stored in a shed out of light and in a plastic bag. I found they are both badly cracked and need to be replaced.

by:

I've never used tensioners before now, but they are great! Easy to install, and they keep the chains from rattling so much, as well as give me peace of mind, knowing the chains are secure. Thanks!

by:

Just what the doctor ordered! Easy to use and installation was a breeze.

by:

I bought these chains just in case I needed them as I was going on a cross-country trip pulling a heavy load. Thankfully, the weather was good, and the roads were dry, so I did not use them. They fit well; they made me feel secure for my trip.

by:

Seem to work nice on my 245/75-16R tire chains

by:

These are easy to install and work very well!

These are worth getting. Its faster and easier to install the chains since they make sure the chains dont move on the tire.

by:

I used separate individual rubber tensioners to tighten my truck tire chains. I ordered Titan TCMA2 chain adjusters and they worked more efficiently. The chain adjusters were easy to install and provided even six points of tension. I would recommend to anyone who orders truck chains.

by:

The Titan Multi-Arm rubber tire chain adjusters are a pleasure to use compared to my old method of using individual rubber bungees. I bought these with my new Titan V-Bar snow chains and have driven out into the snowy woods a couple of times since installing them. The rubber adjusters are keeping my chains tight and secure. I did learn that the installation is easier if you hook the first arm at 12 o'clock, second at 6 o'clock, third at 2 o'clock, fourth at 8 o'clock, fifth at 10 o'clock and last at 4 o'clock. This method keeps the center ring centered on the wheel and allows you to pull down against the arm 180º across from the one you are hooking.

by:

Chains fit perfectly and installed in minutes. Rubber chain adjusters are a great accessory.
Thanks to Kimberly in customer support for getting the right chains and recommending the adjusters.
I'm very happy with the purchase and support from e-trailer and will be purchasing from them again.

by:

Not needed but added to tire chains help keep tight. Heavt duty and took abuse of Mt.

Put chains on with rubber adjusters. On truck ALL winter long and both worked great. A little worn but considering the use they should have been destroyed and are not.

by:

Chains are a little loose on my tires, so the snubbers are needed. They work well. I haven't tried them at speed though.

by:

Additional tension to protect painted wheels. Works great as they should.

by:

Bought with tire chains. They look heavy duty

by:

Strong and does the job well.

I purchased these chains, installed them for a check fit and kept them in the truck on my trip down to California driving the mountain passes in Oregon and California...As luck would have it I never had to chain up going south or when returning back home going north!!I am still highly impressed with the chains and I am glad that I purchased them from Etrailer!!

by:

performed excellent in the mud and snow off road, didn't interfere with factory air bag leveling system, clearance was great

by:

It’s very important to use Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster so that the chains are tight and don’t scratch rims.

by:

JoshuaB is the man!

by:

I'm sure they will be good if I ever have to use them. Could be used for sling shots if it never snows again.

by:

Professional and helpful assistance in ordering Titan chains, via etrailer.com. "First-time" installation was uneventful, due in part to the excellent video assistance. Highly recommended.

  • Option For Class S Compatible Snow Tire Chains for 275/65R20 Tires
Hi Luke, I would love to give you multiple options, but there is only one snow tire chain that is Class S compatible and fits your 275/65R20 tires: - Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2335 These don't have rim protection nor automatic tensioning - just assisted with their built-in tensioners - but I did at least want to give you the option available should you need the chains. I also recommend adjusters to ensure the chains are always snug, the Rubber Adjusters # TCMA2.

  • Tire Chain Kit Recommendation for 2019 Ram 2500 with 33x12.50R20 Tires
Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out! I recommend going with the pewag Wide Base Tire Chains # PW94FR for the 33x12.50R20 tires on your 2019 Ram 2500 for a few reasons; it has grooved square links which are great for ice as well as snow, and these chains have a zig zag pattern so the chains have a bit more of a constant ride quality than you get out of the ladder style. For this style it also helps to have the Rubber Adjusters # TCMA2 to help keep the tension on the chains while you're...

  • Best Tire Chains/Cables For 2018 Toyota Sienna FWD
Hey James, thanks for reaching out. The tire chains/cables we carry do not come with the rubber tensioners, so that is something that will need to be purchased separately. I can definitely recommend the correct item numbers for you, but I will first need to know exactly what size tires you have on your sienna. There are a few common tire sizes for the Sienna so drop your tire size in the comments below and I can let you know what will fit. For example, if you have the 235/60-17 tires,...

  • Tire Chains For 2025 Honda Pilot With 225/50R20 Tires
Hello Steve. Since you do not have the regular stock sized tires on the 2025 Honda Pilot they can be a little more difficult on finding the right fit. Since your tire size is 225/50R20 you are going to want the Glacier Tire Chains w/ Cam Tighteners - Ladder Pattern - Twist Links - Assisted Tensioning - 1 Pair # PWH2229SC. To give them a more secure fit, I recommend grabbing a set of Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks - 1 Pair # TCMA2. Since you mentioned...

  • What Tire Chains and Tighteners do You Recommend for My 2017 Ford F-350 with 275/70-18 Tires?
From the sound of your question, I assume you meant the # PW3029C instead of "TC3029C." Also, it sounds like you have size 275/70-18 tires on your 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty (single rear wheel). Per the Ford user's manual, I recommend only using Class S approved accessories. With that being said, if you want better traction and grip, I always recommend going with tire chains over cables. For this reason, I recommend the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Steel Rollers...

Hey Bob, thanks for reaching out. The pewag Tire Chains # PWE2228S will fit the 245/60-20 tires on your 4Runner but they do not have a mechanism for securing any extra chain links. You definitely don't want extra links flying around while you drive and there are two ways to deal with this. You can either secure the unused portion of the chain with a wire tie or zip tie, or you can just cut off the extra links. What I would do is test fit the chains in your driveway and leave an extra link...
