Video Transcript for Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster Review

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters. They're available for passenger vehicles, with part number TCMA1. That'll work with wheel sizes between 13 and 20 inches. They're available for light trucks, with part number TCMA 2. This will work with wheel sizes between 14 and 24 inches. Finally, they're available for heavy duty trucks, with part number TCMA3.

These will work with wheel sizes between 15 and 24 and a half inches. These rubber adjusters are designed to work with most Titan Tire Chains. They're going to give you the extra tension you need to make them nice and snug around your tire. They stretch for constant tension, providing a tight and secure fit. Our rubber adjusters attach to the center ring here, which allows it to maintain tension even if one arm breaks. Our attachment hooks make it easy to install.

We'll go ahead and show you that now. We've already got our Titan Chain installed, and as you can see, it's a little loose. Which, is a common problem. That's what our Titan Rubber Adjuster is here to fix. You'll want to be sure that the hooks are facing away from the tire. What we're going to do is go ahead and start by hooking the top.

Then, we're going to go directly across, hook the bottom, and then just work our way around. As you can see, it's already starting to tighten up that cable. That's what we want. Now, after you've got it installed, you can go ahead and put one on the other side. Once you've got them both installed, it's a good idea to drive a short distance, and then stop, get out, and check to see if you need to make further adjustments to your chain. That's going to complete our look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters..

Chains fit perfectly and installed in minutes. Rubber chain adjusters are a great accessory. Thanks to Kimberly in customer support for getting the right chains and recommending the adjusters. I'm very happy with the purchase and support from e-trailer and will be purchasing from them again.

These tire chain adjusters worked perfectly to tighten and center my tire chains! I highly recommend them.

The Titan Multi-Arm rubber tire chain adjusters are a pleasure to use compared to my old method of using individual rubber bungees. I bought these with my new Titan V-Bar snow chains and have driven out into the snowy woods a couple of times since installing them. The rubber adjusters are keeping my chains tight and secure. I did learn that the installation is easier if you hook the first arm at 12 o'clock, second at 6 o'clock, third at 2 o'clock, fourth at 8 o'clock, fifth at 10 o'clock and last at 4 o'clock. This method keeps the center ring centered on the wheel and allows you to pull down against the arm 180º across from the one you are hooking.

I used separate individual rubber tensioners to tighten my truck tire chains. I ordered Titan TCMA2 chain adjusters and they worked more efficiently. The chain adjusters were easy to install and provided even six points of tension. I would recommend to anyone who orders truck chains.

Costs of items very competitive. Shipping time was prompt! and items were well packaged. Included several pictures of the items and of the installation on one of the Truck rear tire; LT285/75R 16 BFG all terrain tires... Installation went well and there were no problems; everything looked good after the chains and tensioners were installed... Hope this helps other folks out there. Great products that I would highly recommend to other folks!! Thanks, Henry

I purchased these chains, installed them for a check fit and kept them in the truck on my trip down to California driving the mountain passes in Oregon and California...As luck would have it I never had to chain up going south or when returning back home going north!!I am still highly impressed with the chains and I am glad that I purchased them from Etrailer!!

Bought the Glacier v-bar chains for the rear tires in extreme conditions and the Titan cable chains for lighter duty, also to be installed on the rear tires. Videos show that the cable-chains can be installed on the front tires of a 2020 or greater Toyota Tacoma, though not recommended by the owner’s manual. These cables are S-class compatible so they should work on the front tires, however caution should be taken as appropriate. I would recommend only installing on the front tires after the v-bar chains have been installed on the rear tires and extra traction is deemed worthy. Both the Glacier and Titan multi-arm adjusters were ordered in support of the chains. Parts arrived as ordered in a timely fashion. Have not installed or used these products at the time of review.

If you want to ensure your tire chains stay tight and right where they are supposed to be, you need these easy to install adjusters. They are cheap insurance that your tire chains won't come off when you least expect them to. Well made and went right into the case that holds my tire chains.

Put chains on with rubber adjusters. On truck ALL winter long and both worked great. A little worn but considering the use they should have been destroyed and are not.

Just received my chains yesterday. I have to say, first of, customer service is EXCELLENT! I had questions on which chains were best for my SUV and I was promptly responded with suggestions and links to videos. I went with these tire cables for my 2015 Dodge Durango SXT Plus. There was question about clearance issues with brake lines on the Durango and these seem to be very low profile and made for lower clearance. The price was right too. I did a dry install today and it was a breeze. Took way longer to fold these back up and put back into the storage bag! Lol! (That's not these chains fault, it's user error...) I took some pictures but note it was my first time installing tire cables so I'm going to have to center them a bit more. I purchased the Titan chain multi arm rubber chain adjusters and they did make a difference on how snug the cables fit, so I would recommend them. We only plan on using them on very rare occasions when we venture up the mountain, so in sure if you live where it snows all the time, you will probably look at higher prices chains, but I think these are perfect for the occasional use. I will update after our Big Bear trip if we use them to reflect actual use. Thank you etrailer, they also upgraded my shipping to get here a couple days earlier just because... that was amazing!

Even though I use tire chains with cams I recommend using the rubber adjuster as the cams can occasionally spin loose. Well worth it.

Absolute must have for the Titan Vbar chains. They kept continuous tension on a set of chains that were actually too big. I was impressed because they kept it all together. You will likely have issues without them. Excellent add on and at the right price.

worked pretty well on the mud service chains. would have given a 5 star, but the hooks seemed slightly bent after running them for a weekend (stretched pretty good on 18" rims). would buy again, much better than the giant rubber band type.

I ordered these for a mountain hunting trip, I received them in a timely manner. I put one on to ensure proper fit, and it fit as it should. Never had enough snow to require use of chains, that is the reason for the average rating.

I’m glad I got these with the chains but maybe is my own lack of confidence but I wish they were a little tighter than they hold on my 275/65R20 tires that’s a 20 inch rim to stretch over HOWEVER I would rather have these than nothing at all would recommend 9/10 to grab these if you aren’t looking at another pair or if you just can’t find any they are solid rubber I expect as long as you don’t leave them in the weather to rot they will last a good long time

The chains fit my Polaris General 30 in. tires perfectly. Heavy duty, easy to install and the tightening system is excellent. Highly recommend them. Thanks for a great product!

I just installed the V-Bar Chains and tried them out on my icy driveway. Wow, the traction is amazing. I installed these on my 1990 Ingersoll hydrive 4014 lawn tractor. The links are twice as thick as most other chains. Easy installation. Call to order as you will be completely satisfied with the people at etrailer as they are awesome to deal with. I highly recommend etrailer. Thank you

  • What is the Difference Between the TCMA1 and TCMA2 Tire Chain Adjusters
The difference between the # TCMA1 and # TCMA2 is the size and type of vehicle that they're designed for. The # TCMA1 is designed for passenger vehicles with wheels between 13"-20", where the # TCMA2 is designed for light trucks and SUVs that have wheels 14"-24" tall. There is no difference in quality, just a difference in the size and types of tires they're used on. If you're using these on chains for your 2014 Toyota Prius c, you'll want to use the # TCMA1.

  • Tire Chains Recommended for 285/70-17 Tires
I have two recommendations, the best option will depend on the type of road surface you typically find yourself on. The Titan V-Bar chains, part # TC3829 feature integrated V-bars that really bite into icy road surfaces. The Titan # TC3229S square link features square chain links that get good traction, but they aren't quite as good on very icy surfaces as the V-bar chains. Both chains can be used on or off road. If you'll only use the chains in deep snow, ice or off road, the V-chains...
