Tire Chain Option For 2016 Ford F150 With 35x12.5-20 Tires And Aftermarket Wheels

Published 10/15/2024

Question:

Hi, will these Part Number: KON64FR snow chains fit my 2016 F150 4x4 with aftermarket wheels 35” x 12.50 x 20” fuel rims with Toyo AT 3s tires and 6” lift? Also would the spider stretch center tensioners work to help keep the chains centered? Don’t want to scratch my rims really. Thank you

Hello Rick, thanks for reaching out. We do have a tire chain option for you, but the Konig Tire Chains # KON64FR you mentioned are not going to fit the 35x12.5-20 tires. Our best option for these are the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w/ Cams for Wide Base Tires # TC3835CAM. These are large enough to fit your tires but they do not offer much along the lines of rim protection. The Rubber Adjusters # TCMA2 will be required. On most tires these chains would only contact the tire, but part of the chain may make contact with the wheel, and the rubber adjuster will definitely be in contact with the wheel. We do not offer any of the Konig drape-over style chains for your tires, so a ladder style chain will be the only option.

Jesse, well ok then Thank you very much I’m glad I checked first. Both of those are nice chain set ups I just wish they designed some for Rim Protection but I understand. Thank you Sir ??

@RickL Yea I hear you but sadly we do not offer anything with rim protection for your tire size. They are pretty large tires so I am optimistic that they chain will not come in contact and scratch your rims (or at least not too badly). Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
