This converter charger converts AC shore power into DC power and charges your battery bank. The converter uses a higher voltage output to provide the proper charging profile for lithium batteries. It upgrades the stock converter in your Progressive Dynamics 90-amp 4500 Series RV Power Control Center.
Built for lithium batteries, this unit uses a higher output voltage than a typical converter charger, which provides a fast, complete charge. The charger also extends battery life since it utilizes the appropriate charging profile. Additionally, it's compatible with your battery's internal Battery Management System (BMS), which helps manage charging by monitoring the battery state and balancing cell voltage.
The system includes a number of safety features. It has a reverse polarity protection that will protect the converter if the battery is hooked up incorrectly. Additionally, the unit includes protection for overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent, which can damage your equipment, as well as the converter. The built-in cooling fan also removes excess heat from the unit. The fan speed is proportional to the internal temperature of the converter, so when the power demand is low, the fan will operate quietly.

The product was delivered on time and worked as advertised. The directions that shipped with the product were not too good, but the video by eTrailer was fantastic; which is why I shop etrailer.

Replacing my original converter with this lithium-specific model allows me to charge my bank fully when my solar isn't able to keep up. Very easy conversion and it works great!
It works.. but, it is not the primary charger anymore. I have a Victron 3KW Inverter that has the primary charger duty now.

The price, service and assistance from etrailer was excellent. The converter arrived 3 days ahead of schedule, which was great.
The package was crushed on one end some of the components on the circuit board were bent over. I straightened them and they all seem to be ok, however, this concerns me a bit because I can not install and test it until I get my Lithium batteries. Also I didn't receive the label for the converter that indicates Caution to be used for Lipo4 batteries only

With the change of the OEM converter I was able to go from wet cell batteries to lithium batteries. This product was a perfect fit and improved capabilities.
This unit was a direct replacement for my 2019 Jayco Seneca. It took about ~20 minutes to remove and install using common hand tools. It has performed flawlessly for the entire season of camping.
