Today we're taking a look at the replacement section for the Progressive Dynamics 4500 series converter. This replaces the converter section for a 90 amp Progressive Dynamics, 4500 series Intelepower converter.It fits part number PD4590K18LS8, this is a direct replacement part, has all the same features as the original unit. Now, when you're ready to make your replacement, you'll need to remove the neutral, ground, and breaker wires that lead to the converter on the AC side. Then you'll need to remove the converter output wires from the DC side. That's the ground and positive wires.You'll need to make sure you unplug the TCMS wiring harness, and then simply unscrew the two screws that holds the metal converter plate to the plastic housing and then you repeat these steps in reverse to install the new converter section.That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement section for the Progressive Dynamics 4500 series converter. Again, this fits part number PD4590K18LS8..

We had our converter overnighted. It was very easy to install, but unfortunately it was a defective converter. I contacted customer service and a gentleman that helped me was very helpful and prompt to resolve the issue. He had a new converter sent out overnighted the same day.

Works well. Our old one was starting to squeal horribly and about to go. We're full timers and rely on our systems very much. We have solar panels too and this converter works well with the panels as an add on to manage the battery level with the Wizard thing. Fast shipping, easy install, well protected in shipment box. Converter arrived a couple days earlier than they said. It was well packed, and it worked;all great things. Ensure you use the "Company" line on the shipping info form to enter your unit/site/condo etc. number; it wouldn't let me put it with the street address.
