Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this replacement 75 amp converter section for the Progressive Dynamics 4,500 Series RV Power Control Center. Now, this part will replace the converter section for the 75 amp Progressive Dynamics 4,500 Series Inteli-Power Converter. This is a direct replacement part to fit the part number PD4575A18LS8. It has all the same features as the original unit, including the Charge Wizard. Now, to remove the old converter module, you'll disconnect all your AC power from the RV. And then, you'll disconnect the converter AC power black, white, and green power wires from the circuit breaker, from the neutral, from the ground.
And then you'll disconnect your black and white DC output wires from the DC fuse panel, disconnect your Charge Wizard indicator plug, and then there will be two screws right here, that you'll remove the two hold down screws, and then slide out the converter module. And then too, to install this new converter, you just reverse it, slide this new module into the distribution panel, reinstall the two hold down screws, reconnect your Charge Wizard plug, reconnect these black and white DC output wires on the FEC fuse panel, and then reconnect the converter AC power wires, which are the black, white, and green, to their proper locations on the circuit breaker or the black. The neutral is the white, and the ground is the green. And then just supply the AC power to the RV, and you just test to see if the new converter is operating properly using the test procedures in the manual or in the instructions that come with it.But that should do it for the review on the replacement 75 amp converter section for the Progressive Dynamics 4,500 Series RV Power Control Center.
It took me some time to verify the power converter was the reason why the batteries were not receiving the power to charge. When I was positive the converter was bad, I called and Jaime is who listened to me. She sounded very confident in what I needed. I installed the new converter and the batteries are now receiving the voltage
Thank you Jaime
Previous used converter sent, not new. The bare attach wires were all soldered for installation and were imprinted with deep screw attachment dents from a previous installation. Installation instructions the manufacture were missing and a one sheet diagram was crumbled and tattered from use...the tattered plastic bag container had a supposed jumper wire and a screw for what is unknown. I will never purchase from etrailer again.
Ordered it on Friday, got it the following Wednesday. Had the old one out and new one in, in about 30 minutes. Been working great! Lauren C, Kimberly A and George J responded quickly to a couple of minor issues in the shipping area and etrailer is now my go to for my camper needs. Product is quality, service was top notch, highly recommend!
Replaced my inoperative converter with this one and it has worked as expected over the last year. Installation was easy to accomplish.
Unit worked as it was suppose to. Paid for NDA but it came in two days. Had to purchase a battery charger to get us by in the meantime.
Excellent replacement
Circuit board is slightly different from original, only has the 1 fan were original has 2. Went back together easily and works as should so happy camper.
They have the right price and support personnel to achieve an on time delivery with the right product.
Working great!
Came in on time and worked as designed. I have purchased before and never had any issues.
Quick and timely
Kimberly D was very friendly and helpful when we called. She helped us in placing our order as well as deciding on the best shipping method for our needs. The converter we ordered came on time, and was exactly the part we needed. We will be recommending your site to our family and friends. Thank you.
Exactly the part I ordered, and it even arrived a day earlier than expected. Always a pleasure ordering from trailer.
Part came earlier than expected and fit perfect. If there’s a company with better customer service then Etrailer I’d like to see it.
Always top notch.
The 1st converter section I received was damaged. Probably not your fault but the packaging could have been better. Great response when I tried to make contact.
Ordering was super easy. It was delivered quickly and on time. Installation was a breeze and it works great. Good customer service.
Great company and sales reps!
Initially I ordered what I thought to be the right converter my my RV. Once the product arrived I realized it was not. I placed a call to etrailer and and spoke with Kyle and after a few minutes had determined what the right part for my camper was and was issued an RGA shipping label to return the other. the component arrived and was the direct replacement I needed. Install was a breeze and it is working perfectly. Dropped the other component off ( super simple with that shipping label ) and was refunded the difference between the components once it was received. Couldn't be happier.

I think that product was great but I don’t think I should have to replace it there in two years of the original one. Thank you for having Parked inside, fast service and getting it to me. Thank you.
Got exactly what I expected, wired it in and it works like a champ.
fast service, thank you!
