Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Lippert replacement idler arm assembly. Now this is going to replace the idler arm assembly for your Lippert 2000 series RV awnings. And this replacement is specifically designed for that 2000 series RV awnings. This is 58 inches long, so this is going to ensure a proper fit and function, using a incompatible part, as you probably know, can lead to poor performance or even damage.

So if your current idler arm is bent, cracked, or otherwise damaged, due to wind, wear and tear or an accident, it can cause your awning to extend or retract improperly or even not at all. Now this idler arm helps maintain the tension and stability of the awning and as you know, a worn out or broken arm might lead to sagging or wobbly awning. I wanna bring this head into view here, just so you have a better view of it.
