The rounded two-piece, interlocking jaw design wraps completely around the king pin for secure 360-degree contact. That tight fit cuts down on rattling and movement compared to slide-bar hitches, giving you a quieter, more stable ride. The fully articulating torsion head also helps absorb road shock and makes coupling feel smooth and controlled.
Keeping track of your hitch position is simple thanks to Curt’s color-coded lock indicator. A quick look shows you if the hitch is ready to uncouple (red), couple (yellow), or tow (green). The indicator can be seen from the cab or at the hitch itself, so you always know the jaws are set right before pulling out.
The integrated S20 slider gives you 12" of front-to-back travel to create extra clearance when making slow, tight turns. It automatically latches in both directions and moves easily without binding, helping prevent contact between truck and trailer at sharp angles. Built-in zerk fittings make it easy to keep lubricated for consistent performance.
When it’s time to clear the bed, the A20’s head lifts off with a single pin—simple enough for one person to handle. The adapter rails are heavy and very sturdy. Came with puck mounts already assembled,just had to attach the cross members. Only one puck mount needed adjustment. I haven't installed the 5th wheel hitch yet if it fits without any issues I'd give it 5 stars.
Had to replace my vehicle while on vacation. 2020 puck system was different than the 2025 puck system so I had to order a new base. Ordered the new base on a Friday and it was delivered the following Monday. Jacob was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Package while extremely heavy arrived intact. Bolted rails together. Specs very tight on the 4 pins that hold the base to the hitch. Needed a little coaxing to get it pinned. Definitely a two person job. Would use e-trailers again in the future. Very nice product. Arrived ahead of schedule. Very easy to put together. Took us a little longer to put it together only because we read and reread the instructions to make sure we had everything right the first time. We did struggle with getting the height right with doing the math so we hooked the truck to the camper and got the height that way. If I knew when I ordered, I probably would not have gone with a slider because there’s still plenty of room to the cab and if you have a similar truck that I have, 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 HD crew cab short box, and you have a hard tri fold tonneau cover, you will have to take the cover off because when folded it hits the front of the pin box of the camper. I have a Moryde pin box. That really is the only down fall that I had. Noah was very good about helping find me a fifth wheel that was going to work for me in short notice. Highly recommend etrailer and Noah.
The adapter came packaged very well. The box looked ruff and I was concerned but when opened everything was good. Very easy installation.
It was a good price, fast delivery, easy to assemble & install in my truck. It matches with my Reese 16K 5th wheel hitch. I have not towed my camper with it yet but I do not foresee any problems with it.
Like some other posts, followed instructions to the letter and hitch would not drop into rails. Loosened all the rails bolts, mounted hitch, and re-torqued everything. Puck mounting brackets were just off square a bit and twisted the rails when first installed. Either square ‘em up or alter instructions so it goes in first time. Installed in a 2022 Silverado 2500 6’10” bed. Loved the plan, set the rails first time in a few minutes (instead of waiting in a shop for four hours while someone else did the boring and cutting and such). Hitch has been in two other trucks with conventional rails and always fit. Coulda been a five star, but I am familiar with Curt and feel sure they will get it right.

With new trucks prepped for fifth wheel and goose neck hitch mounts, this made it easy for me to use my old hitch in my new truck. It did add about 1 1/2” to the height of the hitch so I had to move my trailer hitch so the trailer runs level.
This adapter worked perfectly for my 2025 Sierra 3500 puck system. It went together in about 15 minutes and was a perfect fit with my Reese hitch. Also, Paul at Etrailer was great to work with and he made sure I ordered the right part.
Easy to order, etrailer rep answered all of me questions, prompt delivery, very easy to assemble and install in truck. A great purchase.
This product is great. It was well packaged and very easy to install. I have a Pull Rite super glide hitch that fit perfectly.
Assembly and setup was super easy and quick. Seems super stout. I was worried the added 2 1/2 inches of height added by this would require some adjustments to the pin box. However once hooking up my trailer, no adjustments were necessary. Trailer is almost spot on level, and I am still maintaining 6.5-7 inches of bed side clearance to the trailer.
Fits good works good fast shipping. Weight rated for much more than my hitch or truck needs to be latched onto
The easy of assembly, into my Chevy 3500HD. From the CURT base unit with the OEM puck system, to adding the S20 slider onto the base, and finally adding the A20 head on the system to haul my new 2026 Valor 37v11.
The Tech (Mike) that helped me identify the product I needed was very good to work with and communicated well. The person (Amy) who took my also was very good to work with and communicated well. The product arrived timely on the day it was committed for. The product was packaged well and did not have a damage, the installation directions were clear so installation was very smooth. The product is well made, heavy duty and fit as it should. I highly recommend etrailer and Curt products for any trailer needs.
I previously owned the Curt A16. We needed a larger tow capacity so we purchased the A20 and decided to buy the S20 slider base as well. Too many sharp turning issues with our 6’8” Chevy standard bed HD3500 during maneuvering. The S20 slider should eliminate this issue. Also I love the design of both the A20 and S20.

This rail adapter work like i wanted it to. Saved us from having to purchase a New 5th hitch
Install was easy but you need a 2lb hammer help with the Install, I really liked that it raised my 5th wheel higher in my truck bed
The OE Puck Adapter 25K was easy to install. I put a little grease on the parts (6 and 5 on the instructions) - thought it would make it easier to rotate the locking handles into place. I have a "long handle" torque wrench so torquing the carriage bolt nuts to 125 ft lbs was no problem. I installed a Husky 16K S fifth wheel hitch installation onto the adapter. I still need to check the fifth wheel and truck bed clearance and adjust the height of the hitch as needed.
Product is a perfect fit for my 2023 2500HD PUCK system! Easy install. Packaging was superb. I had an old Reese hitch that plugged right into the new Curt rails. Very happy with this purchase and support from Etrailer
Easy to install. Less than an hour. Curt Q20 slipped right in and it is still below the bed top. Others talk about a height problem. I had airbags on my f250 that i would inflate to bring UP my back end. I dont think this is an issue.
Purchased a 2024 Silverado 3500 set up for 5th wheel with the PUCK connections. My previous truck had ISR rails and the PullRite SuperGlide 5th wheel hitch. The Curt adaptor is the perfect solution to avoid buying a whole new hitch.
The package arrived in good condition and on time. Upon opening the box I was extremely surprised how well it was packed, each corner had a metal bracket, there was a piece of plywood on the bottom and top and foam separating the parts.
The install was fairly easy, read the instructions, Chevy is one way, Ford another. The PUCK locking mechanism make a nice tight connection with very little adjustment needed. The rails fit in nicely and the bolts went in well, torqued as required.
I have not yet attached the PullRite hitch but if it fit the Curt ISR rails on the previous truck it should fit this one. With the Chevy 2500 I had, between the squat and ISR rail setup the 5th wheel was slightly lower in the front. With this Chevy 3500 suspension and the adaptor being about 2" higher I expect the camper to be level or slightly higher in front which works.
Very nice adaptor if you have the need, better than changing out a perfectly good hitch.
Adapter rails are heavy duty, easy to install and were a perfect fit for the puck system on my 2026 GMC. My Husky hitch fit perfectly into the rails. Our first trip towing with this setup went great!
