Will B&W Patriot Slider Work In A 2026 GMC 2500 With The Factory Puck System?

Hey Maurice, thanks for reaching out. No, the B&W Patriot Slider cannot be used in a truck with a factory puck system. The patriot hitch is designed for industry standard 5th wheel rails, and while there are rail adapters for the GMC puck system like part # C88KR, these rail adapters are not compatible with the Patriot hitch.
For a GMC truck with the puck system, you'll need to use a hitch specifically designed for that puck system. For that I recommend the following:
- B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K # BWRVK3775

Yes I'm very happy with purchasing this hitch. Works great.

It fits well. Is much quieter than our previous hitch. Easy to attach to camper. Only challenge is the size and weight. Needed to get a hydraulic lift table to get in and out of truck bed. An improvement that could be made is to the pin that holds the mechanism closed. Very hard to open. Could use a pin that has an extension to enable getting a finger on it. Overall great product.
