It's easy to lose track of how much propane is left, especially when your tank is tucked behind a cover or mounted on the trailer. This Bluetooth sensor monitors propane levels in compatible LP tanks and displays them in the free Mopeka app on your smartphone. If you're using the Waltech Smart Thermostat (WA74FR - sold separately), the sensor also communicates with the Waltech system so you can monitor your propane supply as part of your connected RV setup. Check your propane level anytime, so you know when it's time to refill.
The integrated magnets on the sensor provide a secure connection to steel cylinders. And because non-steel propane cylinders aren't magnetic, this kit also includes a plastic mounting collar with peel-and-stick adhesive. Attach the collar to the bottom of the tank, then snap the sensor into place for a secure installation without drilling or wiring.
Check the propane level in your RV, grill, fire pit, or portable heater from your smartphone or tablet without disconnecting the tank. You'll know when it's time to refill before you unexpectedly run out.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Mopeka Pro Check Bluetooth propane tank sensor with included mounting collar for non-steel tanks. So folks, maybe you have an aluminum or composite propane tank, but you still want an easy way to know how much fuel you have left. Maybe you've seen these from your neighbors at the campground and you're like, dang, I'm one of those cool Mopeka check sensors. Well, now you can do it with those kind of tanks too.
So normally as you can see, these do use magnets from the bottom and they would stick to steel tanks just fine. But if you have the propane tanks that are composite or aluminum, now you have a way to do that. They have an applicator brush here. They've got the dielectric grease as well. The dielectric grease is going to go on here after you've cleaned everything off.
You do have a 3M adhesive here. You'll simply peel back that red backing and this will stick onto the bottom of those tanks. And then whenever you have this in place, the magnetic side would go facing down like this as well. Okay, so bear with me. So this is underneath your tank like this.
And then the cap ring here will simply go on top and it'll literally snap in place here. And then once everything's stuck in place, then you'll still have access to the buttons and everything that you need to sync it or to vent. So it does come with everything you need here. And what's neat is that you can look at the gauge or the sensors rather based on a free app from Mopeka and that's going to allow you to check. So it's using Bluetooth wireless connectivity to send that data to the app.
And as you can see on that image there, you can do more than one device on their app and you can just add them as you get them. If you get more tanks and those kind of things, they're very simple to add. And it's really useful because now you don't have to worry about am I out of propane when I've started cooking dinner already Am I too low to even start cooking dinner Or man, next time I go to town I need to fill up because we're getting low on propane and we're going to need to take some hot showers. So this is a great option for you. Again, it's a wireless sensor. And again, this works for the non-steel propane tanks. Folks, that's going to wrap up our look together.
