Updated 02/09/2026 | Published 02/02/2026

Question:

Looking for an adapter plate to convert my super glide 2700 hitch over to a 2024 GMC 3500 puck system. What do you recommend?

Hey Jay, the Pullrite Superglide 2700 was designed to fit the industry standard above bed fifth wheel rails so to adapt it to fit the OEM pucks of your 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 you would want the part # C88KR that you referenced and you'd be set! How do you like the Superglide?

Yessir Jay, your Pullrite Superglide 2700 was perfectly designed to fit the factory puck system on your truck. I previously had a 2018 GMC 2500HD w/a 6’ bed, but bought a new GMC Denali 2500HD that came with the larger 6.5” bed, so I had to buy the part # C88KR you referenced and I was gtg, and you’ll be good to go too. Drops in and lines up perfectly. Enjoy! Larry

The adapter appears to be made well and is very heavy only adding to the weight of the hitch when trying to remove or install in the truck. The only issue I had was upon initial install, the bolt holes were not perfectly lined up. I took a drill and drill bit that was around the proper size and chased it through the holes to make it line up better. It worked perfectly after that. I have had it roughly 3 years and have had no issues and seems to be a good match to my Reese 5th wheel hitch. I would purchase again! Rod

@RodneyD There is some adjustability in the mounting tabs of the adapter that maybe needed to be adjusted?

@JamesonC It was so minimal and I did not have a punch to line them up. It was more of an alignment than enlarging or drilling a hole. I tried adjusting and it would not align. Rod
