Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at these replacement side plates for the Demco Autoslide 5th wheel trailer hitch. Now, this is going to replace the side plates that came standard with your Autoslide 5th wheel trailer hitch. And on your screen, I am including our item numbers for the 18,000 pound and 21,000 pound 5th wheel hitches that these plates are going to fit. And those item numbers there on your screen are for your reference.
And these side plates are going to let you install your hitch into the pucks of your Chevrolet or GMC's factory underbed rail system. So, this is going to be a simple bolt-on installation to your hitch's base, giving you the multiple rows of bolt holes to let you adjust your hitch's height. And these are made here in the USA of a steel construction with a rust resistant black powder coat. And this includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get the mounting hardware, and the handles that we we're already looking at with the pins, and a set of instructions to guide you through step by step the installation process.

Arrived on time! The DEMCO hitch adapter is a must in order to elevate the Fifth Wheel unit to remove the old bed rail adapter and replace with the puck mounting plates.

the parts is what I need for the hitch the only problem after install the side plates ones I try to install it on the truck can not get it to fit on the truck I have to loosen up one side plate to make it fit to the truck then tight them bolts

Instructions was a little bit on the vague side, but after talking to Amy at a trailer, I was able to adjust it, and everything went in as it was supposed to
I ordered this yesterday and got it today. I was really surprised that the items arrived that fast. I will be putting them to use tomorrow. So far so good
The powder coating was chipped and missing in several places. The welded guid tabs were too close and had to be grinned down to fit in the OEM puck holes. Typical aftermarket hardware. Just expect to spend a few hours getting it together. But once I got the spacing right it does the job.
The product was delivered on the arrival date as promised it fit hitch perfectly hardware was packaged well easy to install Alex was very helpful and well informed with what I needed to make my hitch convert to the vehicle
