Adapting Demco Autoslide 5TH Wheel Hitch To Fit Factory Prep/Puck Bed On a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500

My new truck has the in bed hitch attachment points. What do I need to transfer my Demco auto slide 5th wheel to my 2023 GMC Sierra 2500? The old truck had the rails in the bed.

You have a couple options for moving your Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550035 to your 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 with the factory in bed prep/puck system. First the best way in my opinion is to remove the mounting brackets on the side of your hitch and add the Side Plates # DM49GV. These will allow you to set the hitch into the factory mounts on your Sierra.
The other option is using a Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # DM6333 to act as an adapter between your bed mounts and your hitch. This may be the best option if you have any other hitches or accessories which fit the 5th wheel rails that you will want to still use.
