Question:
I bought a new truck and need help finding the correct underbed mounting kit for my DM6081 Autoslide 18k 5th wheel hitch. I have a new 2025 Chev Silverado 2500 HD 4wd crew cab with 6.5’ bed. Please advise. Thank you, Bob

Hello Robert, thanks for reaching out. We should have a solution for you, but the part number # DM6081 is the Demco Autoslide head unit, so this does not tell me exactly what hitch you have. Basically I will just need to know if your hitch attached to a factory puck system or to industry standard 5th wheel rails.
If your new Silverado has the factory puck system, you would just need to replace the side plates on your hitch. For that use part # DM49GV. These will allow your Autoslide hitch to attach to the Chevy puck system.
If your new truck does not have the factory puck system, you will first need to install a rail kit in the bed. For that use parts # 8552037 and # DM6071.
Then if your Demco hitch already has the side plates for industry standard 5th wheel rails, you will be good to go. If you need the rail mount side plates too, those are part # DM6003.
Was your old Demco hitch made for a factory puck system, or for the ISR rails?

Jesse, I have a few pictures of my Autoslide unit with the side plates if that would be of any help. Let me know.

Jesse, Sorry for the slow response. My new 2025 Silverado HD does not have factory puck system. My Demco Autoslide does still have the side plates from my old Ram truck. Can I still use those? I thought all I needed was the bed top rail mounting hardware. Or is there a bed undermount kit available? Thank you, Bob
