Great product! Ive pulled a 42' to Hell and back not one problem. It is heavy, but it's very solid. My fifth wheel hitch fit straight in. Way cheaper than having to put rails in if you have a factory ball hitch in the bed. Its It's also nice that it's removable so you can haul furniture, or things that can't sit crooked ect. Great product, should last forever. Definitely would recommend
Received the Curt X5 B&W turnover ball adapter yesterday. Would have been easier to drop in with two people but I was able to do it myself. Dropped right in, and in less then 15 seconds it was dropped and locked. Saved me lots of install time on 5th wheel rails. Set my RBW lil' rocker hitch on and pulled my 10,000 lbs 32' 5th wheel across town without issue. I feel that this is probably the strongest way to go when running a 5th wheel to turnover ball adapter, and its only about $*** which is a fraction of the cost for those other weird complex adapters that side load or flex. Customer feedback was great with optimal response time on my questions.
Other than it not being tight fit to the bed of truck and rocking a little it works well. Wish it had a better fit in the bed.
I just received the adapter plate, and it appears to be correct, and also appears to be well made. We will know how it fits once we attempt to mount it.
The box it was shipped in looked like it had been chewed up and spit out, but since the item is all steel there was no damage.
I cannot not say enough about trailer. Always have had my back with price,knowledge, and the best customer service.

My tow vehicle is a 2013 GMC 3500 Dually 4WD and tow a 40' 18k 2012 Keystone Raptor
This is just what I was looking for, already had Curt R5 slider hitch, put B&W hitch on new truck. Tried a gooseneck adapter, but too much flex. Went back to 5th wheel hitch. This adapter is built heavy, weighs over 100lbs by itself. I pull a 14,000lb toy hauler, with a F250 shortbed, needed the slider. I feel much safer with this product. Ordered from e.trailer, shipping was right on, only 3 days.
I purchased the curt X5for my F250 Super Duty. Install and removal are a breeze. Holds mu 5th wheel plate great. Pulled 7000 miles a month after install.
Managed to get my hands on a curt E16 5th wheel hitch and couldn’t be happier with the combination. The drop in weighs 100lbs and is honestly really easy to install. The hardest part is getting it from where it’s stored to the back of the truck.
Finally installed this with my older Reese hitch. It rocked a little side to side and up and down. I was a little concerned but,once the trailer was hitched up,it worked pretty well.seems pretty solid going down the road. A good alternative to omitting a gooseneck.
I feel the product works as it is intended but I did have a hard time setting it low enough for the pin to engage without using the weight of the trailer to push down on the Curt

It was been working great. One installed I haven’t had to remove it.
Received product 4 days after ordering with free shipping. Seems really well made. No noises or clunks when towing. It dropped right in to my b&w gooseneck and my Reese 5th wheel dropped directly into it. Good product.
Really impressed with the quality of the Curt product. Worked out great, fitting my new to me 98 Dodge 3500. Thanks etrailer.
Solved a problem for me allowing me to use my gooseneck receiver and allows both types of hookup in a safe and manageable way.
Hole didn't line up.
I had to fill out to allow release/lock pin to engage in hole.
Fits right in. Just what I needed to use the hitch I already owned wit my B &W gooseneck. Awesome price also.
This was super easy to install, and recently when we were pulling an 9,000 lbs 5th wheel, it performed flawlessly. well worth the money, and with the added bonus of keeping our Goose-neck hitch for our Hay trailer.
The only issue was the outer cross braces of this base interfere with the B&W 16K Patriot 5th wheel hitch. I had to grind off about a 1/2" by 1" triangle on the lower Patriot bracket (each side) so it could sit flush on this base where the pins could be attached. Otherwise, I really like the simplicity of this design.
Definitely does the job if you already have the goose neck and need the 5th wheel rails.
The hitch is just what I needed at a good price. Delivery was FAST and no shipping for such a heavy part.
I would recommend this product to everybody, excellent price and it only to me and my son five minute to install.
I recently purchased a used '08 Ford F-350 with a B&S turnover gooseneck hitch. I wanted to use a Reese 16k hitch that I already own and put it in this truck without doing the typical bed rails to attach the fifth wheel hitch. I contacted Etrailer and they quickly identified the Curt X5 adapter to solve my issue. Ordered new adapter and in 3 days I had the unit and everything fit perfectly. This is the second time I have dealt with Etrailer in the last 6 months and I continue to be impressed with all aspects of this company. Ordered Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter for my B&W Square Shank Turnover Ball Hitch and received it in two days. Had it installed in my trucks in a matter of minutes. Just pulled out the ball and inserted the adapter, no holes to drill in my truck bed and simply unpin it and remove it to have full use of my bed. Love it!

It is great! Just got back from a 4800 mile trip and unhooked my fifth wheel and pulled the pin and removed everything from my truck bed. The only way to go!
Very polite and helped with order to get the correct fifthwheel plate to fit my truck, and made every step easy for purchase, very pleased it fit exactly as describe, I can appreciate everything very much .

Perfect! Let's me use my Reese 5th wheel hitch that I have had for 15 years and three moves, FINALLY!! Both of my one ton trucks have B&w bed hitches, so I got two for one with the Curt adapter!

Works great, I had a Reese hitch left from my old 5th wheel and two pickups with the turnover ball in the bed. This is easy to install and solid when pulling. Just what I needed.

Many times the hitch head is adjustable. You may be able to adjust the height there, and also the king pin is commonly adjustable as well.
