Troubleshooting Difficult to Install Demco Side Plates for GM Pucks

Question:
I installed the 6402 Puck adapters to my Demco 18K auto slider and one side goes into the truck pucks ok but the other side doesnt want to go down into the pucks, seems like the cams on the one side are a bit too long , any ideas ? Thanks .

There is some adjustability in the pucks of the # DM49GV that you need to mess with. If you check out the install instructions in step one you can see how to remove washers from the handles to allow for a better fit. Basically a nut gets removed from bottom of the inserts and nuts get removed from the bushings.
